I grew up in the 50’s with the threat of the Russians nuking us every day. This time around if we do get nuked, I doubt it’s going to be the Russians doing it.

Washington DC which is the center of our government. 3 cities that are the communications centers of the country. That’s four nuclear bombs. Drop a few on some port cities on the east and west coast. That’s all you would really need to completely shut down the entire country. Nuclear freeze or not, a lot of people would survive, but under miserable conditions.
