Samples from ‘Noah’s Ark’ site in Turkey reveal human activity dating back to biblical era, scientists claim

It may just be a discovery of biblical proportions.

Scientists have placed humans at the site of what is believed to be the “ruins of Noah’s Ark,” in the eastern mountains of Turkey.

The findings, released earlier this week, of rock and soil samples determined that “clayey materials, marine materials and seafood” were present in the area between 5500 and 3000 BC, according to the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet.

The study is comprised of three Turkish and American universities that have been investigating the theory of the site since 2021.

The “Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark Research Team” group was created for scientific research on the ruins, whose structure was damaged due to landslides, and carried out its first study in Dec. 2022.

Located less than 2 miles from the Iran-Turkey border, in the Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı lies the Durupinar formation, a 538-foot geographic feature made of limonite, believed by some to be the petrified remains of Noah’s Ark.

The holy texts of three major religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam all have references to Noah and the ark, but scientists have yet to determine the authenticity of the stories.

The formation was first discovered by a Kurdish farmer in 1948 before Turkish Army Captain Ilhan Durupinar identified the site in 1951 when he was flying over the area while on a NATO mapping mission,” according to the Noah’s Ark Scans project.

When my mother was in hear late 60’s she said something that I thought was profound regarding trying to find Noah’s ark. She said it’s safe to assume that Noah and his offspring probably took the ark apart and used it for lumber for various things they had to build after the flood.

Can you explain why huge ballast stones litter the surrounding areas?

Because they aren’t huge ballast stones.

The second, third, and fourth of Moses' "Genesis" chapter suggests that by a created perfectly man came death, not vice versa (evolution).

Belive what you will. Neither you nor I were there when life came to be from chemicals, with cessation of it following.

Still doesn’t gibe with Genesis 11:2: 2 As the people migrated to the east, they found a plain in the land of Babylonia[a] and settled there.

Mt. Ararat is directly north of Babylonia (or Shinar). Noah’s descendants came from the east, not the north.

Of course they are. And they happen to line up with the ark. Imagine that.

Gosh, a medieval carving of a naturally occurring rock? And they happen to be misinterpreted as ancient by you? Imagine that.

——>Gosh, a medieval carving of a naturally occurring rock?

Hmmm, I never knew that naturally occurring rock came with a rope hole drilled into it, naturally of course, you know, in nature.

That stone, and others, was found in the village of Arzep, meaning the place of eight, formally known as the village of eight, about 15 miles from the ark. Take a closer look at what’s carved into THAT rock, and many others in the area.

A “formation” that’s the EXACT length of the biblical ark

Subsurface scans validate that it’s a boat

Located in the mountains of Ararat.

Anchor/ballast stones found throughout the area, in a direct line with the ark, with many of them located in the village of Arzep, which means PLACE OF EIGHT.

Dude, deep down, are you afraid that Ron Wyatt was 100% correct about Noah’s Ark, meaning that goes double for everything he said about finding THE ARK OF THE COVENANT? Do you hate Ron Wyatt, the Seventh-day-Adventist, or just Ron Wyatt?

Were these Roman era ANCHOR stones all naturally occurring too?

How about these? Naturally occurring? Just laying there with pre-drilled holes? Nope. Notice the holes, larger on one side, smaller on the other, JUST LIKES THE ONES AROUND THE AREA OF NOAH'S ARK, you know, where there isn't a large body of water for hundreds of miles?

How about the same geological form which occurs throughout the world, near large bodies of water, or nowhere near large bodies of water?

There’s no excuse to be fooled by a naturally occurring geological formation in the 21st century.

The stones were hand made, not with predrilled holes, and not by Noah or his family, but nice try.

The holes were drilled by various superstitious folks in centuuries past, who were fooled by a naturally occurring geological formation, and thought they were looking at remains of Noah’s Ark.

It isn’t the remains of Noah’s Ark, it’s just a natural formation. Stop spreading lies.

The “exact length” of Noah’s Ark is at best an approximation.

Since this formation has been in its current location for millions of years, it’s not unlikely that it gave rise to the supposed dimensions, if not the story itself, of Noah’s Ark.

Construction of Noah’s Ark out of wood is estimated to take 300 man years.

Ron Wyatt was either a charlatan, or delusional, or both. What he was not was an archaeologist, or scientist, or meteorologist. Anyone who continues to be taken in by his load of crap is pathetic.
