I remember the Battle of Athens very well.

I also remember that after winning the group fractured and in a couple of elections the bad guys were creeping back into power.

There is a lot to be learned by studying the aftermath of revolts.

One of the major ones is the good guys end up losing because they are more interested in their own lives then in telling other people what to do. So they drift away. If we wish to stop that inclination we are going to have to make some political and cultural changes.
