I read the headline and thought cats were attacking.
Not many, but a few cases...
We were in an urban Phoenix neighborhood, so we had resolved to keep our kitties inside even though they wanted out.
My make cat got so restless, he took to find small objects to ingest. In one case it was a piece of kitchen chair leg tip, in another it was a small Lego tire. Both caused blockages. He had to be opened up twice, his stomach once. Cost to family, thousands of dollars.
Now he has a cat flap, and we have had no other incidents.
Someone hurts my cat intentionally, they “ risking being injured – either by accident or by the cruel and deliberate actions of callous people”.
PETA beware in Texas. Don’t venture out of the house.

So Peta- the organization that destroys boatloads of animals and throw them in neighborhood dumpsters- who destroy animals that are given to them because people can’t take care of them- are all of a sudden all concerned about the welfare of animals?
