For example, Carlson has questioned the value of NATO to the US. So that pretty much moves the needle out of non interventionism into isolationism.
The mistake here is to assume isolationism is automatically bad and non interventionism is automatically good.

It’s the quite the opposite in reality. Americans have spent the last 80 years benefiting from the US economic and military policy. Our standard of living reflects that. But please do continue with your fantastical day dreams if that is your hobby of choice.
