Minneapolis’s prosecutors always knew George Floyd died of natural causes

A former Hennepin County, Minnesota, prosecutor is suing her employer, alleging that she was a victim of sex discrimination and retaliation. That’s par for the course. Hennepin County is entirely Democrat, and Democrats don’t always feel obligated to follow their loudly stated rules. The reason Amy Sweasy’s lawsuit matters to us is because George Floyd died in Hennepin County…and depositions in Sweasy’s case make it very clear that the prosecutors always knew that Derek Chauvin and the other three police did not kill George Floyd:

During her deposition, Sweasy also discussed a revealing conversation she said she had the day after Floyd’s death when she asked Hennepin County Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker about the autopsy.

“I called Dr. Baker early that morning to tell him about the case and to ask him if he would perform the autopsy on Mr. Floyd,” she explained.

“He called me later in the day on that Tuesday and he told me that there were no medical findings that showed any injury to the vital structures of Mr. Floyd’s neck. There were no medical indications of asphyxia or strangulation,” Sweasy said, according to the transcript.

“He said to me, ‘Amy, what happens when the actual evidence doesn’t match up with the public narrative that everyone’s already decided on?’ And then he said, ‘This is the kind of case that ends careers.’”

Of course, American Thinker readers have long known the truth about George Floyd’s death. Practically from the beginning, John Dale Dunn, M.D. wrote here that (a) none of the coroner’s information showed death from asphyxia or any other type of strangulation injury and (b) that what killed Floyd was his heart: He had severe heart disease. The disease, combined with stress, killed him. And the Hennepin County prosecutors knew this all along.

Completely irrelevant to the narrative that needed to be pushed

Too late for that. Chauvin was tried and convicted here on FR.

Can we take back Juneteenth now? It only became a holiday because of White guilt.

Because somebody made a big stink about Trump having a rally on it, even though nobody outside of the State of Texas even knew what it is. And even Trump capitulated on it, saying it should be a National Holiday.

It only became a holiday because of political expediency. We already have Martin Luther King Day.

It’s also close to Independence Day, and yes, there are already calls to ditch Independence Day in favor of Juneteenth.

Don’t government employees need another holiday?

Chauvin was an agent of the leftist state. Had you kneeled on St. Fentanyl he would have kicked in your front door, pointed guns at your children and arrested you in front of your family. This is true of any leftist city cop, why should they receive support from decent people when they are martyred by their own masters?

Only by a few idiots and since most of the older FReepers are going ace/deuce, the number of idiots is increasing.

No sane person could argue the black lives don't matter, but many idiots argued that all lives don't matter.

That is the point of insanity that we have reached in this world, "my views, my feelings, my conclusions" are all that matter and we are nearing the edge of the cliff.

It is impossible to have a political discussion with a biden voter, they are not rational.

There were no holidays in June.

Just need one in April and August to have a day off in every month.

Add to that a Muslim Attorney General doing all he could to suppress exculpatory evidence and support “the narrative,” and VOILA! BLM is born!

Derek Chauvin needs to be released and the prosecutor throw in prison for three times the sentence Chauvin got.
