In his new book, Government Gangsters, Kash Patel learned that rhe agents of the Deep State operate through a series of networks, violating their oaths of office, weaponizing the law, and spreading disinformation for political or personal gain.
Like most Americans, Kash Patel grew up believing that the country was run as a democracy, with a government that honors the will of the people and is accountable to them.
It was only much later, as an attorney and then as a senior advisor to former president Donald Trump, that he encountered – and confronted – what has come to be called the Deep State, people at the highest levels of government, business, and culture who subvert democracy to serve their own ends.
In his recent book Government Gangsters: The Deep State, The Truth and the Battle for our Democracy, Patel describes the Deep State in broad terms as the politicization of core American institutions and the federal government. More specifically, this oligarchy includes elected leaders, journalists, business leaders, and NGOs with leftist ideologies. But its most entrenched and active arm comprises “members of the unelected federal bureaucracy who think they have the right to rule America, not Congress or the president.”
The agents of the Deep State operate through a series of networks, violating their oaths of office, weaponizing the law, and spreading disinformation for political or personal gain at the expense of equal justice and national security. He saw them in operation as the lead investigator of the Russiagate hoax. His book is not just the story of how he battled the leviathan, but also about how the Deep State can be defeated for good.

The book release was delayed by 8 months while the government tried to find reasons to redact as much as they could.
Why do these so called educated attorneys keep using the word “democracy” instead of “Republic”?
Rip out and abolish 75-80% of the Federal government, root and branch.
Thanks for posting the link. I had interruptions during posting and missed it. The whole article is good.
Makes for a good book I supposed, but I personally believe the "deep state" actually isn't in government, or even Washington DC necessarily, those are the puppets living there. The real men behind the curtain wouldn't work for a government wage.
They work for government contractors, or large corporations, where salaries aren't limited, and profits are huge, which is what is used to pay the lobbyists, who then issue the payoffs to get the outcome they want. A lot of them are retired Generals, or other high level retirees such as former Cabinet members or leaders of Congress. But they are not in the government anymore, it doesn't pay enough.
Great reality article, thank you.
“Patel also uncovered the workings of an incestuous relationship – the Defense Industrial Complex – between senior military leaders, officers in charge of procurement of military equipment, and defense contractors. These players work to keep America engaged in military conflicts abroad, enriching each other in the process. Patel was disillusioned to find that Mark Esper, Trump’s secretary of state, was a major lobbyist for defense contractor Raytheon and received significant payouts from the firm. Esper thwarted Trump’s agenda for Afghanistan, refusing to draw down troops in Afghanistan, opposing a hostage rescue op, and preventing counterterrorism raids.”
Bingo... And the whole explanation for the speaker of the house issue. The MIC is in full control of our government and will only accept someone they have already purchased.
I think you are right about who is pulling the strings.
The United States of America is not and has never been a democracy. It is a republic.

Excellent, and the chain of command above them goes all the way up to BlackRock/Vanguard/ Kissinger & Associates/ Etc. Corporations and their primary stakeholders.
Yep, starting at the highest levels. 90% of it is redundant, worthless and unneeded anyway.

And worst of all:
Intentionally set up so the grafters can get a payoff.
I expect the War Hawk damage control operators to show up in here pretty soon.
Yep, You get it...
From the President down they are all doing this but a very few. Both D And Rs. It is the only truly bipartisan effort being practiced on the hill. And has been for over half a century.
CHECK
the only way to reduce corruption in govt
is to reduce govt
**The real men behind the curtain wouldn’t work for a government wage.**
There’s women in that club too.
Club?... Hmm... I think there needs to be a fanclub for following the global elite, that people become obsessed with, following these elite everywhere: to the gates of their mansions, to the boat dock, the airport their private jets are at; and (to those unwashed that are in the vicinity), to their island getaways.
Lots of photos to share with friends, put on the web or text to family and friends, like is done with top athletes and other entertainment people. You know... people that have to take dump regularly like the rest of us.
These elites want us watched and controlled. They need to lose much of their privacy as well.
While I will enthusiastically acknowledge that it’s easier said than done, but….the Deep State exists only because of the people that we have elected over the years and the ones we continue to elect.
McCarthy had 9 months to prove that he was legit. He chose not to. He could have crushed the Deep State. He chose not to.
Is it easy to get rid of some of them? No.
But even that isn’t as hard as it might seem as it all starts at the local level.
Be weary of who you elect at the state and county levels. For they are the foundations that all of this sh*t rests upon.
Would Kemp and Raffensberger been able to get away with everything they got away with if they didn’t have trained seals at the county and state legislative levels? Same for Arizona.
