Unfortunately we missed this for the Puffball discussion!
Graphic disgust warning! Bugs in the garden that you can eat!. Slugs are a no! (You can if you harvest them and feed them something like cornmeal for a week or so until they purge any toxic to us plant matter! Then they become Escargot!) Apparently Mexicans like Stink Bugs! More in the article including discussion of your (Warning) friends grasshoppers and allied edibles!

First of all, ICK!
However - if the bugs are coated in a good quality chocolate, I’ll reconsider. ;)
The Puffball ended up tasting really good. I marinated thick slices and Beau grilled them. Yummy!
The bigger of the two was kind of slimy and yellow in the center once I cut into it, and I decided not to risk eating it. I DID, cut it up and tossed it under some hardwood trees to see what might happen in the future, though. :)
LOL!
Discussion of how it might be possible to propogate giant puffballs!
Enjoy this view Canada and Rain Clouds across the lake!
