The cop had his knee on the neck...pretty plain to see. “Entire” thing can’t be a lie.

Though much of the narrative surrounding it like every black person faces this every time they walk out the door was indeed a lie.

"..The eight cops who beat Tyre Nichols to death come to mind here.."

Oh yeah. Whatever happened to that story?

Not enough racial animus to be had there, eh?

“An officer should not have to subject himself to arresting procedures, in order to show they are not harmful.”

Uh-huh.

Derick Chauvin is an innocent man in jail, just like the Lord and many others. The Floyd statues on college campuses are repulsive.

I read the autopsy report. As I recall the autopsy report, there were no injuries that were consistent in taking the life of somebody. If there were no injuries, than the cause of death is from “other”, which would be drug use.

His physical injuries were basically scrapes and cuts.

The report explains, in detail, injuries to Floyd’s body. “Blunt force injuries” included “cutaneous blunt force injuries of the forehead, face, and upper lip” (those are injuries affecting the skin); “mucosal injuries of the lips” (that’s generally the skin inside the lips); “cutaneous blunt force injuries of the shoulders, hands, elbows, and legs,” and “patterned contusions (in some areas abraded) of the wrists, consistent with restraints (handcuffs).”

He had a narrowing of the arteries.

The report says Floyd’s autopsy revealed three “natural diseases:” (1) “arteriosclerotic heart disease,” which it described as “multifocal, severe;” (2) “hypertensive heart disease,” which included a “clinical history of hypertension,” and (3) a left pelvic tumor, which it described as “incidental.” (Incidental tumors are generally benign.)

The report elsewhere said that a “cross sections of coronary arteries, though not all ideally oriented, confirm the gross impression of atherosclerotic narrowing.”

Toxicology Findings

Blood samples collected at 9:00 p.m. on May 25th, before Floyd died, tested positive for the following, the autopsy report states. (Quantities are given for those who are medically inclined.)

Fentanyl 11 ng/mL
Norfentanyl 5.6 ng/mL
4-ANPP 0.65 ng/mL
Methamphetamine 19 ng/mL
Various types of THC: 11-Hydroxy Delta-9 THC 1.2 ng/mL; Delta-9 Carboxy THC 42 ng/mL; Delta-9 THC 2.9 ng/mL
Cotinine positive
Caffeine positive
A urine drug screen tested positive for presumptive positive for cannabinoids, amphetamines, and fentanyl/metabolite.

A urine drug screen also confirmed free morphine of 86 ng/mL.

You can read the report for yourself.

“Whatever happened to that story?”

On January 26, the Grand Jury of the State of Tennessee indicted each of the five MPD officers for multiple charges: second-degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping (two counts), official misconduct (two counts), and official oppression.

Chauvin was a jerk who should’ve been off the force a long time before this incident- yet despite Amy Klobuchar refusing to take action, there were no consequences against her.

That said- he should not be rotting in jail for a murder he did not commit.

Yeah. I read it too.

You are leaving out the cause of death reported in 2 separate autopsies, and the testimony of several coroners.

Strange that.

Arresting people is an ugly business. You can be shot for littering, if you are determined to allow yourself to not be arrested.

Every person who dies, while being arrested, is at fault for their death if they were determined to not be arrested. Police procedures are designed to minimize harm to somebody who is compliant with an officer’s orders.

You’re going to end up with a violent society, on par with countries like Somalia or Gaza, if you insist that officers never use force that risks death to somebody determined to not be arrested.

I haven’t left anything out. You are welcome to state those other causes and the documentation.

I simply posted the official autopsy.

Like Obama the rest of the Leftists never miss an opportunity to NOT let a crisis go to waste. That so many in law enforcement in Minnesota went along with it is equally damning.

But George Floyd was just a useful tool for what the Left had planned for a long time (BLM). They were just waiting for the right “victim” to use and exploit for their own political ends.

Can they be compliant or do they have to resist like Floyd and that joker who recently got his tickets punched Georgia did?

The most important lesson for the Police is this: the police officer in charge of managing an incident must be hands-off. They need to be able to do command & control with an objective perspective. As soon as Derek Chauvin was hands-on with a suspect then the protocol should have had him designated on the specific as subordinate to any of the officers there not hands-on. Commanders need to have enough distance between themselves and the action to make good judgment calls.

Anyone who really read the autopsy detail knew this, before the trial.

This is clearly intended for the braindead people who have no idea how to think for themselves.
