Trump-endorsed Jordan is the clear choice of grassroots conservatives. A top House GOP aide reported, “[Constituents] are literally melting the phone lines. Some offices’ numbers are permanently busy. Thousands and thousands of people are calling their members of Congress demanding Jordan for Speaker.”

Evan if that hadn’t happened, Scalise wanted to be part of the House GOP leadership, which means you check your conservatism (if any) at the door or you don’t get in.

I’ve always really liked Jordan he seems trustworthy and to have honest to goodness conservative principles. I was very happy to hear that he was in running be speaker of the House. Why do I get my hopes up like this? Those swamp creatures will never allow him to be speaker. :(

It seems many Freepers are showing themselves clearly conservative, and willing to see the camouflage of the RINOs as nothing more than that. As we have our family and friends whom we do influence, the notion that conservative principles trump simple party affiliation is rather a lovely thing to see.
Principled conservative positions. That alone gives hope for our nation's future.

It is ironic in today's Democrat-RINO alliance that one of the original parties ( against which Washington warned of sectionalism ) was called the "Democratic-Republican Party." Today that phrase rings differently and in a very different way. Them against us, so often.

A $2900 campaign donation is all it takes to buy a Republican representative plus countless
donor mules were set up by fraudster FTX to funnel money to the “preferred” congressmen.
The campaign “donations” are all about “spending.” Congress simplistically spends billions they do not have and did not earn, then saddles taxpayers with onerous borrowing costs. Taxpayers’ children and grandchildren are compelled to pay the outrageous bills.
