JIM JORDAN, speaking in the Capitol, says he hopes the House will elect a speaker today.
“There’s been multiple rounds of votes for speaker before.”
I just caught the end of the press conference:
"The quickest way to help Israel is to elect a Speaker of the House"
Looks like he's sticking around.

As a wrestler, he needs to get the never trumpers in a half nelson and flip them on their asses. Quit worrying about Trump and start worrying about this country.
That's probably his best shot because being pro-Israel Israel is the litmus test for Republicans (and some Democrats) at the moment.

Our county is not being run by the people WE THE PEOPLE elected to represent us and our wishes... maybe all of these people were not fairly elected.... corruption rules those who are weak and are dominated by a biased justice system... that is where we the people are now.
Jordan just needs to hang out until the debt ceiling deadline in just 4 weeks. If they don’t elect him the DC beast can starve.
Rest of the Rino’s have the choice, either completely abandon the party and any hope of election in the future or finally support Jim Jordan and work really hard to get their credibility back (doubt it but its possible they are just stupid and greedy, not ruling out stupidity)
If they work to elevate a Democrat Speaker they are going to lose their seats. It will be Liz Cheney for them.
The uber qualified Jordan couldnt get elected speaker, but to hear some tell it, he’s suddenly morphed into a strong, decisive “leader” ........ all b/c of one issue.
Moderate holdout McCaul (R-Texas) said he’d belatedly back Jordan b/c he found out that Jordan (R-Ohio) is “committed” to linking Israel and Ukraine in billions of foreign aid tax dollars.
We’ve fallen very low as a country if the only thing that makes Jordan electable is whatever he says (and doe$) about a foreign country.
They just as well pack up their belongings now if they vote for a democrat
Let them spend the rest of their term in the basement wondering where the Swingline stapler went
I feel, in my gut, this is a pivotal moment.
We need to make sure Jordan gets the position or I feel Maga will continue slipping back onto the shadows.
The right has a history of backing down in such instances.
When Ca allowed a leftist judge to destroy prop 187 (?) in 1994 with like 85% popular approval they should have rioted and used force to protest . They didn’t and Ca was swamped with illegals turned legal democrats now it’s a blue state fortress.
1987, judge Bork was called the finest constitutional scholar in in the world but Dems rejected him because he was too “right”. The repubs should have pushed it through even if it meant an executive order …Regan backed down and we got the awful RINO Kennedy.
I’m afraid we will see Jordan as another lost pivotal battle when we are sitting in rest homes with a socialist POTUS POS in the White House some day.

Best part of his speech was he didn’t mention Ukraine once.

The Republicans did not control the Senate at the time and the Executive can’t sit a judge by executive order. If you meant recess appointment, also not possible since the Senate was not in recess.
I’m glad,I hope he is aware The American people are burning up the phone lines supporting him,it’s the Republican traitors that are subverting the country along with democrats!

Jordan, my congressman, is one of the good guys. Support for Israel and Ukraine does not mean unending unaccountable funds.
This is a chance to change direction or it’s back to business as usual. How’s that working for you? (Regular working stiffs not connected to .gov largess. If you’re one of the “connected “ the looting and pillaging is your piggy bank)
