I'm a bit biased, though. Mom was born there almost 100 years ago.

There’s no Dindu Nuffins that’s why.
A lovely area. My sweetie & I spent a couple of weeks on Pend O’Reille near Hope. Long drive from Emmett, though. :-)
NOOOOO! Lies, all lies! Sandpoint is a horrible place. Hurricanes and sandstorms! Swarms of murder hornets! Vampire wasps! Carnivorous wildebeest herds roaming downtown!! Torrents of oobleck falling from the skies!!! Do NOT come to Sandpoint!!! I mean, do not GO to Sandpoint...

Wild dogs that eat interlopers alive!
That’s where Mark Fuhrman retired - as did lots of other retired LAPD officers - some even from OC...I guess that’s because they were “racists!” Whatever!
It’ll be very cool up there in another few weeks.
really great except for the Idaho Nazis
Yeah but it takes 45 minutes to get to Schweitzer and you have to know the back way by the airport to find the friggin’ road.
AND the grocery store is a relic...but some people think that’s an asset!
Ben Stein (Bueller..Bueller) sang the praises of Sandpoint many years ago in his column in the American Spectator.
Ping!
L
Sarah Palin’s hometown, too.
Also home of Litehouse salad dressings.
“Cool” is uncool.
“Cool” means normal people will be priced out, if they haven’t been already.
I agree! I used to live there, near the base of the Long Bridge.
I worked security at Schweitzer in the winters and worked construction in Spokane and Cd’A in the other seasons.
I LOVED Sandpoint and North Idaho!
Also, the birthplace of Patrick F. McManus. One of the great outdoor humor writers. Rancid Crabtree is rolling over in his grave and Bo Tully is tugging on his mustache. The times….
BALOGNE!
Those are pics of Jackson Hole.
Everyone go to JH!
