Only one week into our campaign as an Independent and @RobertKennedyJr is polling at 16%. Putting him above the required 15% threshold needed to get a podium on the debate stage in the general election.

Kennedy has often come out against reparations and top down climate change policy along with concerns over environmental effects of alternative energy. This isn’t going to be hard for him to explain.

I’m beginning to understand why his family thinks he’s a nut.
That may be but at least a kook that has come out against a carbon industry that “hijacked” the Inflation Reduction Act which is not exactly an endorsement.
I'm done with thinking about throwing my vote to RFK Jr (as someone who voted for Trump twice).
While I admire his stance on some issues, reparations is certainly not one!
His generational/family bias is now showing big time. His pandering daddy and uncle have not been forgotten.
If there were any Trump voters who thought about RFK Jr as an alternative -- that's all over now.
Some percentage of polling should not be the test to be in the national debate.
It should be: if the candidate is on the ballots in enough states that if he/she won them all they’d have enough Electoral College votes to be elected, then they should be invited to debate.
No matter how goofy we might think they are, they deserve to be included.
There is no doubt in my mind, that if the Democrat party nominated RFK Jr as their nominee they would win the general election against Trump handily... and I say this as a Trump supporter.
Unfortunately for RFK, the left hates him even more vicerally than they hate Trump so there were never going to let that happen
The family feud has cooled now that he appears to be hurting Trump.
It must be tough running in the middle but he always leaves himself room for improvement. When there is a direct redress that is legal, fair, and wins the approval of Americans of all races we can have a real conversation.
