Today’s Cryptogram
ISITPH NV L UTIJDNULFSR FBNCW, L PSDLFNES FT FPKFB, GKF CTF NFV FONC. —GLPGLPL QNCWVTDESP
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
From The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
Huh? I don’t understand the meaning of this one.
I think the author is saying it’s not always 100% accurate
I agree. A quote that makes you give a double take.
Funny as you get older you swear how great times were when you were young.
For me, I look at it as before Kennedy’s death and after.
Before his death, it seemed like we were an innocent, vibrant, and confident nation.
I lived in Chicago. YOu could keep your doors unlocked. Everyone walked the sidewalks at night in the summer.
Then after the death, we became another country.
We know now, that there were sinister influences in the background, and who knows, maybe the CIA, FBI did kill him, which makes you wonder if the feds have intervened continually since then.
Trump knows the truth, that’s why he’s a marked man.
Getting back to the quote, I think you’re spot on.
“Recollections may vary” Queen Elizabeth II

Thanks. I’m not awake yet, I guess. Pattern recognition is like instinct, but analytics are to much for me this AM.
Times were better. Even 20 years ago.
And definitely before 9/11/2001.

Good one today. So true, the best I can remember.
