Good Morning...I like the idea of straw beds...tried one last year, but was remodelling, and didn’t take care of it much...had a grass problem with the straw also. Right now it looks like I am going to have to deal with lots of green tomatoes...

Hi D. I have peanuts, radishes, beets, kale, broccoli, brussels, mustard, and collards in the ground. The last round of sunflowers should bloom soon 🤞. Here’s hoping for a temperate winter.
I grew leeks this year and proud to say they did pretty well....
but what to do with them...
I'm thinking pull them up, cut off the roots and the tops, slice them into discs, parboil them for a minute, cool down, then freeze....pull some out as I need them....
does that sound about right"
