I think credit card companies are already tracking transactions. I wonder how they can force people to use digital IDs and health passports.
How are CC companies not charged with usury?
“credit card companies are already tracking transactions”
A while ago I needed a mastercard record from 3 years back. They had it. Dunno how long records are kept.
Doctors will be required to withold treatment for uncooperative patients. Already happening. I went for my yearly in July. I get a note from the practice that it’s no longer a phydical. It’s a medicare subsequent. My PCP can’t even explain it. My exam starts with her med asst asking me the usual questions: can I cook for myself, drive, do house hold chores. Then she asks a few new questions. What race am I, what pronouns do I use
I just say “ next question”. She leaves and the doc comes in, all apologetic. Medicare won’t let her do the physical unless the questions are answered and my plan will refuse to pivk up the difference in cost. She knew ehat I would do next and said that silly or nonsensical answers won’t be accepted either. She was as disturbed as I was but was helpless to do anything. She couldn’t even order the rouyine tests or labs for me. So I relented. That’s the very near future. It’s about money and who controls it. It’s always been about that. Just the controllers have changed. C.S Lewis was spot on a century ago.
C’mo man, too simple,
You go to your bank one day for cash to find out that it is now CBDC.
