I saw that ad very recently. I thought she looked really old, then I found out she was only in her mid 50’s!
I saw those commercials too (ColonialPenn?) and thought she looked older than she should. Sounded older too.
Ironic that she doesn't have insurance. ColonialPenn should jump in just to cover their investment in their spokesperson--if not for human kindness.
I saw her at an LSU gymnastics meet within the last year or so. Her daughter is/was on the team. She looked good to me. But, one’s health can go South pretty quickly, so there’s no telling.
There are sites that list celebrity net worth. Hers is estimated to be in the millions. Honestly, there are some (albeit few) really rich folk who “self insure.” That is, they decide to roll the dice and pay out of pocket.
Her insurance needs are honestly none of my business. I must say that I find it interesting that her child doesn’t want to invade her privacy by describing the illness in detail...but doesn’t mind sharing that she is uninsured. Does that seem odd to anyone else?
I hope she recovers. Respiratory issues are terrible.
I think it was for Colonial Penn Life Insurance. It’s not the kind that can help her now.
