That was entertaining and he’s my guy. I’ve been naturally worried that he’s saying all the right things to get elected and will then govern like a globalist, but he’s our best hope to reverse the course we’re on. The more he sounds like President Trump, the more I like him, and I absolutely loved that he didn’t answer questions based on false premises and actually called out the premises on which the questions were based.
I remain skeptical that anyone in Canadian politics ISN’T a globalist because I believe the selection process has been somewhat rigged. But I did get involved last year and joined the party and therefore had a right to vote for the leader. If enough conservatives (small c) did this, then maybe we chose someone who isn’t slick, in that they say all the right things, but slimy, in that they wiggle out of their promises or rephrase them once in power. Our last Conservative leader, Erin O’Toole, was slick and slimy and turned out to be a real globalist who loved all the covid lockdowns and restrictions. He found himself unemployed after the truckers united everyone.
Thank you for bringing this interview to my attention, Keflavik. I’m bogged down in the final push to complete my year-end accounting and get the books to the accountant, so I’ve been barely keeping up with the news. That was SOOO worth a distraction!
