Aaron Rodgers was joking last week when he called Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce “Mr. Pfizer.” Rodgers also wasn’t joking. There was an edge of disdain and derision in the term that Rodgers used. When the subject came up during this week’s visit with Pat McAfee and company, it was clear that Rodgers had a strong anti-vaccine (or, as some — like me — would say, anti-science) viewpoint lurking behind the effort at levity.

Mike Florio is a girlie-man.
Aaron Rogers has something to say and a bigger forum helps. The public is now skeptical of 'the science'. He could challenge Baldwin(Wisconsin) in '24 while still playing. Naw, too ideal. Perhaps he should quit football but he won't walk away from $50 million.
Go, Aaron!
He’s probably already saved lives for speaking out as much as he has, while sellouts like Kelce...
2024 will be an exciting time-like ‘68. Hopefully no one important gets killed but it will happen to a lot of us pawns. Rogers participation on whatever level he chooses will be welcome.
Good grief.
I doubt he’s playing again. Achilles tear at 39…
Rogers wants Tay Tay
If he really wanted Tay Tay, I doubt this would be how he’d go about getting her back.
Although Aaron Rodgers looks like a hippie, I agree with him.
There ought to be prosecutions following the unconstitutional and, thus, illegal government vax mandate and subsequent deaths from this criminal government activity.
Who will Arron debate about using mushrooms?
Rogers will not run for Senate as political scrutiny on a national stage would be his Achilles’ heel.
They stayed in Orlando after the cruise was over to go to Universal Studios while we returned home. She just called me and said following a ride at the park she immediately developed a 4” bruise on her upper arm that was actually burning and stinging. She went to First Aid and got an ice pack and some Tylenol and filled out an incident report.
I’ve been worried about her developing medical issues from the “vaccine” for the last 2-1/2 yrs. She’s my rock and after losing our son in June, I just can’t lose another child. I’m trying to stay positive and not anticipate the worst, but it’s difficult these days.
”Those who shied away from the shot reported doing so for five main reasons.
Nearly 40 percent said they had already been infected with the COVID-19 virus {and as a resut had residual viral immunity – comment mine}.
Over 30 percent were concerned about vaccine side effects,
and 28.6 percent felt the bivalent booster would not provide more protection than the doses they had already received.
About 23 percent were either concerned about vaccine safety or believed the extra dose would not protect against a COVID-19 infection.
Twelve percent said they didn't think the booster would protect them against severe disease or death. “
“...while sellouts like Kelce...”
Rodgers displayed a complete failure in the efforts to embarrass and remove the privilege of Kelce to have an opinion. Rodgers has his opinion...so does Kelce. And Rodgers is no more qualified in the topic than Kelce is. Plus Rodgers was vaxxed for novel in 2021 and got covid and he told reporters back in August 2021 that he had been immunized against COVID-19, then denied it later. Fact or fiction?
“Any vaccine can cause side effects. For the most part these are minor (for example, a sore arm or low-grade fever) and go away within a few days. Listed below are vaccines licensed in the United States and side effects that have been associated with each of them. This information is copied directly from CDC’s Vaccine Information Statements (VISs), which in turn are derived from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations for each vaccine.”

Additionally, Rodgers is not being too smart even though he has every privilege to oppose something in public. Problem there is that he now plays for the Jets. The Jets—to whom Rodgers signed earlier this year—are owned by Woody and Christopher Johnson, heirs to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune. Johnson & Johnson was also one of the pharmaceutical giants that released a COVID vaccine. So is it wise the defecate where you eat? He was wrong many ways for going after Kelce for his opinion but I guess his superstar status affords him certain privileges of badmouthing other players with his opinion.
I used to respect Rodgers as he didn’t play these childish behaviors and quietly did his job and kept it to comments on the game and not someone else’s opinion on something that has nothing to do with him.

Rodgers and Kelce debating medical issues is about as rich as Fauci and Kennedy suiting up for an NFL game.
It’s a life or death question and Aaron’s in the right, while Travis is advocating murder.
Mel e is getting paid to promote a “vaccine” that isn’t a vaccine, you Big Pharma shill. I worked for GSK in another lifetime and you and I both know these jabs never went through the real FDA approval trial regimen.
the absurd Taylor Swift - Travis Kelce relationship is a Pfizer-NFL-BigGuv contrivance.... git yer vaxxx, you deplorables!
Actually, I found the key statement from Rogers is calling Pfizer a “corrupt corporation”. Pfizer could launch a defamation suit over that, and actually put a dent in Rogers sizeable wealth. They won’t though, as Rogers would have quite the platform to bring out everything against the Big Pharma Giant.
“...you and I both know these jabs never went through the real FDA approval trial regimen.”
If it will help, they were never approved other than for EU by the FDA and even the new ones are being approved the same way. But the point I’m making is that if Rodgers wants to mouth off about another’s right to free speech, then he’s wrong. It has nothing to do with the vaccines. It’s about Rodger’s actions. He had no reason to get into that problem by trying to attack someone else’s opinion who directed nothing at him. And neither one of them is knowledgeable about the vaccines except what they are paid to do and say. There was no reason for him to get into it other than he is covering himself with his lack of play but apparent abundance of lack of class. I used to respect him on the field but this incident displays a side of him that many athletes fall into when they think their opinion outweighs someone else’s. And instead of talking with them they use the media for attacks on others.

“It’s a life or death question and Aaron’s in the right, while Travis is advocating murder.”
If that’s the case, then you better outlaw any type of medication to enter the body.
Between December 14, 2020 and June 14, 2021, the United States gave more than 310 million doses of the three authorized Covid-19 vaccines. During that period of time, the public database known as the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or VAERS, received reports of 5,343 deaths among those who received a Covid-19 shot.
For the three Covid-19 vaccines, the CDC has stated that there’s no evidence from clinical data, death certificates or autopsies to confirm reports of them directly causing death. Compare that with Covid-19 infection, which leads to death in nearly 2 percent of cases in the United States. That means 2 out of every 100 people die from a COVID-19 infection.
So is it a case of life or death? Thus neither of the two players in this incident can say it is if the people that actually track them say it isn’t. How many died from the results of actions of the vaccines or even allergies to them is all lumped into one doughball. And in my area a number of motorcycle accident deaths were attributed to covid. So if no one except the medical field can produce any adverse effects based solely upon the vaccine being any different than any other medication put in the body, then how can these players other than what they are told to say or open their mouth about possess such knowledge to be correct in what they say?
It’s not about the vaccines. It’s about Rodgers challenging someone’s opinion that is no better or worse than his in a public forum to try to lower Kelce’s public approval which will cost him. And for no reason.
