Tucker Carlson, one of Fox News' biggest boosters of President Donald Trump, made an impassioned case against the airstrike that killed Iran’s top military leader, blasting Washington for ignoring "the big picture."
During his Friday night show, "Tucker Carlson Tonight," the host decried the escalation of tensions with Iran sparked by the killing of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.
"No one in Washington is in the mood for big-picture questions right now," he lamented. "Questions like: Is Iran really the greatest threat we face?

He’s your Biden. He gave your Putin the green light to invade Ukraine in a “minor incursion” and he took more bribes from the Moscow mayor’s than from Burisma. And she’s still exempt from sanctions.
He's YOUR Biden.
I wonder if your mom is gonna be mad that your trolling has outed you as a Biden supporter.
The course correction to The Narrative is all about the raping, beheading animals of Hamas, now.
Your Will Stewart is going to have to start writing about Gaza and the Israeli attacks on your Hamas vermin.
For all his WASPy clean cut preppiness and Christianity he could give a word or two in support of the civilized part of that world. It wouldn’t be virtue signalling if it was heart felt. But by his silence he shows he doesn’t give a shit and possibly worse. And speaking out by people does make a difference. Words of courage and support can influence others and lift up people that feel like the whole world is against them. And it can rally others to speak out against evil and to take action.
What about this situation calls for instant comments from Clinton, Obama and Tucker Carlson?
Your Putin is begging for a two state solution today. He knows his Hamas muzzies messed things up.
Bibi is telling your Putin to take his two state solution and shove it.
Russia (like most of the nations of the world) has advocated for a two-state solution to settle the dispute between the Israelis and the Palestinians for literal decades. As far as Russian foreign policy is concerned, it's nothing new.
His mom usually figures out that he's snuck back on to the computer again, after a while.
There is no such place as “Palestine”.
Alas, that's not up to any of us here at FR, now is it?
Yes there is.
Ok. I was wrong.
Actually I drove there once to pick up our puppy for my daughter.
Also, it’s pronounced, “Palis-teen”.
So why did they happen to bring up this crap today?
The answer is simple:
Alexander Jannaeus was the second king of the Hasmonean dynasty, who ruled over an expanding kingdom of Judaea from 103 to 76 BC. [Preceding the Heroidan Dynasty.]
EXCERPTS:
The kingdom of Alexander Jannaeus was the largest and strongest known Jewish State outside of biblical sources, having conquered most of Palestine's Mediterranean coastline and regions surrounding the Jordan River.
Alexander also had many of his subjects killed for their disapproval of his handling of state affairs. Due to his territorial expansion and interactions with his subjects, he was continuously embroiled with foreign wars and domestic turmoil.

Battle of Gaza
Palestine was essentially the western leg of the Fertile Crescent, running north and south along the Eastern Mediterranean coastline. Parts of modern day Turkey and Syria at the north, and a bit of modern day Egypt at the south. And, some distance inland from the coast, into where modern day Jordan is.
The area was green and in some areas, lush, after the receding of a severe cold, almost ice age -like event, that left behind much water, a long time ago.
Ownership or titular control over the various lands and particularly portions thereof, changed hands well over 100 times since that severe cold spell. Most often, as a result of changes in generations - power being handed down to descendants. Otherwise, changing hands via conquest.

Apologies, corrected:
Herodian Dynasty - beginning with King Herod the Great, who was alive when Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
Herod the Great died in 4 BC.
Thank you.
I always find it bizarre that some people deny the actual existence of a historical region called Palestine, as if doing so means they must therefore side with the claims of Hamas or Hezbollah over those of the current state of Israel.
