The Northeast looks to another wet weekend ahead as the remnants of Tropical Storm Philippe and an incoming cold front will soak New England and potentially flood New York for a second time in a fortnight.
Tropical Storm Philippe lashed Bermuda with heavy rains and winds but lost steam and was downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone Friday as it churned northward on a path toward Atlantic Canada and New England.
But the East Coast won't be spared by the storm as its remnants combined with a eastward-moving cold front will make for another rainy weekend.
Maine is set to be especially wet but at least an inch of rain could fall from much of eastern New York into western and northern New England over the weekend, according to The Weather Channel

I guess Al Gore was right when he told us NYC would be under water
I sure hope their backs don’t get wet during the storm.
Maine is set to be especially wet
So it is going to rain here in Maine in October. That ain’t news and no one is rushing to the store to stock up.
I remember storms there that woudl wash over the storm walls along the ocean- flooding the towns along the coast- we’d all drive down to the sea walls, open the van door- step out and wait for a large wave to start rolling in and then run for the van hoping to shut the door before it hit- Water rocking the van and washing over it lol- course the salt water was murder on the van- but just living near the coast was terrible on vehicles- Bondo was a big seller o n the coast lol
They just can’t take the hint. ⚡️
Stoopid climate alterations! Guess pope-a-dope frank was right. NOT!
Fake news. NOAA is predicting a whole INCH of rain over the weekend.
Maine less than that.
Scare headlines make people watch the ads.

He might not get his helicopter ride into ABC studios NYC for the “news”?
Apparently they are handing out Participation Trophies to afternoon rain showers to pad the Tropical Storm stats to “prove” Glowbull Warming.
Maybe it should be re-named the mudslinger rally.
Actually, last night they say parts of Maine can expect 5-6” of rain. The rest of us can get 1-2”.
Not in Falmouth where my daughter lives.

God is trying to flush NYC?
The Caribou office maps still show lots of rain expected. I doubt it will be that bad. Not much wind here in eastern Maine right now.
