They May Wake Up If a Rocket Hits Them’ – Russians Are Getting Frustrated With Oligarchs
[In an intercepted phone call, a man rages about President Putin’s impotence in the face of wealthy individuals who just “play with toys and earn money.”]

Russian civilians are becoming increasingly frustrated with the country’s oligarchs, according to an intercepted call released by Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Directorate (HUR).
In the eavesdropped conversation, a man accuses them of profiteering from the full-scale invasion of Ukraine while President Putin is powerless to do anything about it.
“Putin asked the rich for f**king money, 200 billion to replenish the treasury,” he tells his friend.
Speaking further, he becomes enraged at what he sees as Russia’s elite profiteering from the war.
“F**k, the war is not ours, it’s just f**king dividing the land [between them]. We weren’t f**king needed there.”
“This is how they play with toys and earn money. There will be more billionaires, and that’s it.
“You see, he [Putin] doesn’t even attack them much.”
The man’s concerns are not unfounded – a report by Proekt and reported by Le Monde in August found “almost half of Russia’s wealthiest people are war profiteers.”

It described how 81 of the richest 200 people in Russia owned companies use to “supply components, equipment or fuel either to the Russian armed forces or to arms factories.”
The man in the intercepted call goes on to suggest the only way these oligarchs will ever change is if the war affects them in the most direct of ways. “Yes, they may wake up if the rocket hits them seriously at least once. “ he says. “But they don’t give a f**k, they have all their property abroad, mother**kers.
“They don’t give a f**k about the people.”
Though the intercepted call has not been verified, analysis of such conversations by Ukraine’s intelligence services indicates that Russia’s military finds itself in a dire situation in the face of Ukraine’s ongoing counteroffensive.
“They didn’t give him a f**king thing. They refused. I just watched a program about it.”
Ukraine should have surrendered on day one. Then fight a guerilla war against the Russians. That may have been more effective in the long run. Putin’s successor would decide it’s not worth the price to hang on to Ukraine. And less people would have been killed.

One reason you don’t see Russian flags is they lack of Putin’s regard for his troops. Bodies and badly wounded are frequently abandoned in the field where they fell. Other bodies are shipped back to Siberia and the other far flung small communities where they originated. Probably no big cemeteries near Moscow or St. Petes. And to further emphasize Putin’s “I don’t give a turd” attitude about his dying countrymen, he even plowed up the nice cemetery Prigozhin had created for his fallen Wagners. These people had already given their lives for mother Russia. Why in God’s name did this sociopathic monster have to destroy their last resting place. They didn’t march on Moscow, they had already died trying to take Bakhmut. No wonder Putin’s popularity is dropping in Russia.
Regarding 500,00 dead Ukrainians, I don’t believe it. You probably don’t believe 350,000 Russians are kaput either.
And if Russia was winning, you would not have to respond with your own propaganda, or your bosses.

They are firing so many shells the cannon gun tubes are wearing out fast and all the cannon will be silent in a week. They are having to limit the number of shots they can fire—and are using North Korean rounds that explode when fired. All they can hit are markets and schools. It will be over by Winter! The new push is coming! In Crimea by Halloween. Once the Abrams and F-16s come Ukraine will be invincible! Send more men and money! A Trillion will do the job. Victory isn’t Cheap. I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred ninetieth day of the war.
Day 590: Oct 06
Today, they are a lot of news.
First of all, in the aftermath of the comprehensive amphibious operation combined with marine and aerial strikes, Ukrainians were able to reopen their harbors.
And this is one of the questions that many of you were asking in the comment section – if Russians were forced to remove their Black Sea Fleet away from Sevastopol, does this mean that Russians lost their ability to conduct blockade and control the Black Sea? As it turns out – yes – Ukrainians have organized a safe corridor for commercial ships, Ukrainians have opened all 3 major Black Sea ports, and the first 10 ships have entered Ukrainian waters.
In response, Russian forces started attacking the seaports with kamikaze drones in order to destroy the cargo that was meant for these ships. Even though 25 Shaheds were shot down, 8 of them managed to hit the facilities, and as the recently released footage indicates, the targeted objects were hangars and containers with products for export.
The destruction of infrastructure for exports is one of the strategic objectives of the Russian forces because by reducing Ukrainian exports, Russians are shrinking the Ukrainian economy, which means that Ukrainians cannot finance the military-industrial complex. And this is especially important in the light of recent uncertainty about external help, as the US experiences a government shutdown, and the parliamentary elections in Slovakia were won by the anti-Ukrainian party.
Several days ago, the Russian Air Force also struck a tank production factory in Kharkiv. Even though Ukrainians have not been using this factory since the beginning of the war simply because it is too close to the Russian missile launchers to be protected, the Russian effort still represents a decisive wish to undermine the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
From better news, Russians once AGAIN shot down their own fighter jet. Today, Russian sources reported that a Russian air defense operator in Mariupol confused the Russian jet with a missile and shot it down. One of the reasons is that today, Ukrainians conducted certain strikes in the area, and it was assumed that Ukrainians are trying to destroy the bridge that connects Crimea to Russia, which is the main supply artery of Russian logistics, so the air defense operators were likely too anxious and did not think twice.
In total, Russians intercepted their jets already 5 times – and this is only from what has been officially admitted – there are still plenty of unexplained accidents in Braynsk, for example, where Russians lost 4 aircraft, or during the Wagner coup, when at least 7 aircraft were shot down. Some Russian analysts critiqued the lack of coordination and said that if this trend continues, Russians will run out of jets.
In order to precipitate this process and protect Ukrainian skies from missiles, Germany announced its plans to provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot system. And this would be especially helpful during winter as the risk that Russians start hitting the energy infrastructure to create societal pressure is extremely high. Hopefully, the system will arrive very soon.
But the biggest news today is that Ukrainians have detected and destroyed a Russian training base near Donetsk. Ukrainian fighters from the Shadow detachment released a video showing how Russians gather at the training camp just 11 km from Avdiivka. Setting up the camp so close was a terrible idea because Ukrainians quickly detected it and hit with HIMARS rockets. As a result, at least 35 troops were killed and wounded.
