Olivia Hill made history this month by becoming the first out transgender person elected to public office in Tennessee, after also being the first out trans person to even run for public office in the state. But an ambiguous anti-trans law in the state has cast a dark shadow over Hill’s election to the Nashville Metro Council.
Senate Bill 1440/House Bill 239, which went into effect on July 1, essentially erases trans Tennesseans’ existence by defining folks exclusively by their sex assigned at birth. The law defines “sex” as ” a person’s immutable biological sex as determined by anatomy and genetics existing at the time of birth and evidence of a person’s biological sex.” It goes on to say government-issued IDs are one example of “evidence” that should “accurately reflect a person’s sex listed on the person’s original birth certificate.”

I’ve read that most transvestites have usually been heterosexual - though that may have been how things were in the past.
I worked in a little dress shop in the early ‘70s, and there was a very effeminate young trasvestite who’d come in. I asked him if he’d ever thought of going through the sex change; he said, “Oh,no. I love women, but I’d never want to be one.”

Exactly on point - I can’t possibly say/write/shout this enough about enabling mentally unstable individuals and the negative effects on society at large. Every cell in that person’s body will tell God’s plan of male or female without regard to the secular silliness that abounds in the world.
Maybe he could just hold it in?

Maybe he can just use the men’s room, and save us all the inconveniences of turning established social norms upside down, just to placate a tiny number of disturbed individuals such as himself?
There’s another factor in women’s desire to avoid sharing restrooms with trannies and that is the strength difference between men and women. I read somewhere that the average man is about 40 percent stronger than the average woman. That is intimidating. If you are an average guy, imagine sharing a restroom with a roid giant and you may get an idea of why women feel very insecure in that situation.

The TN legislature is going to have to babysit this malignant assclown Stalinazi sideshow. I’ve been a lifelong resident of this city, and it gets progressively worse at each successive election.
It never was, not in quite some time. We never had a functioning Republican opposition here (unlike Memphis, Knoxville and Chattanooga). There hasn’t been a Republican Mayor elected since Grover Cleveland was in his first term (around 1886/7). The last “Moderate” Dem Mayor left office in 1975.
A string of left/center-left Congressmembers from 1963-2023. Only with the GOP legislature chopping Nashville up three ways and placing them into adjacent GOP districts has allowed our city to have GOP representation at the Congressional level since the last Republican won in 1872 (150 years). The Demonrat loons went ballistic when the GOP did to them what they had done to Republicans for decades on end, screaming “racism !” This, despite the fact that this is still a White majority city. They don’t cry racism at Black Memphis, under the Voting Rights Act, elects a White Stalinist (there hasn’t been a Black member elected there since 2004), an example of why the VRA should be disbanded.
Short-arm inspections for everyone. Check for all kinds of stuff.
