Well it sure beats Rikers.
“Internicola doctored timesheets to reflect that he worked 2,250 hours at the jail during the 18-month period when he was actually home or on vacation. “
Why did no-one in management/administration spot this?
There is a lot more blame to go around here that just the officer/thief.
Lock him up! General Pop, Rikers. That’ll teach him! ;)
‘The People’s Republik of Madistan’ has the same problem with bus drivers and OT. Some are raking in 140K a year for driving a bus!
Nice work if you can get it.
“ I am sure he votes rat...”

For sure. They are all about OTHER-PEOPLE’S-MONEY.
From the same Rupert Murdoch rag in 2022:
Rikers Island officers working 100-plus hours weekly, stuck sleeping in jail’s parking lot

Hey, give the guy a break. He’s 56 and was just trying to Juice his High Three for retirement pay calculation.
I’m sure averaging $260k per year bumps his retirement payout up a bit from calculating with $92K per year.
$92,000 to guard people in prison.....
I guess some other guard will soon be guarding him.
