Earlier this month, a solo hiker near the Gold Creek Campground made the grim discovery of the bodies of Rebecca Vance, 42; her 14-year-old son; and her sister, Christine Vance, 41, all residents of Colorado Springs.
The mummified remains of a family who attempted to live off-grid were discovered in July in Colorado's Gunnison National Forest. According to NBC News, the family reportedly relied only on YouTube videos.

The best trout fishing trip I ever had was with my dad all up around there for a week. We were more than ready for camping and fishing and I still remember that it was cold. And some beautiful brown and rainbow trout.
How the tribes treated each other before the White Man arrived. My short list.

The poor 14 year old only weighed 40 pounds
Such lunacy. I grew up in the mountains and know how to survive. Wouldn’t want to do it but could if I had to. No fire arms nor fishing gear for these dipwads
