Yep. My first job at 16. KFC. We had to count out the change ourselves. And guess what? It wasn’t difficult.
We all had part time jobs as teenagers; it was just a given. Nobody made us. We wanted to earn our gas money, money for albums, movies, concert tickets, etc. and stick a couple of bucks away each week.
My next part-time job in my college days was at a department store. And we had those new-fangled registers that told us how much change to give back. LOL
LOL, the only math I learned as a kid was to break a twenty, and like a champ!
At the fast food places they don’t have numbers on the buttons of the registers. They have pictures of the products.
