Commenting without reading past the blurb, but does the author think beyond just getting old? Perhaps they should think on momento mori- remember your death. Good to focus on your future in this life, but far more important to focus on what comes after this life.
Also, do they have plastic surgeons for the soul?
“No mention of tattoos.”
LOL...let’s see, how to interpret that?
1. “I made it to 70 without a tat. I sure missed out on a lot. I’m going to go get some ink right now”
Or
2. “I made it to 70 without a tat and happy I did. I’ll keep it up.”
I’m seeing more 60 to 70 year olds getting tats. By getting droopy, sagging, crepe skin tatted they avoid the problem of getting a tat while you are young and then having your skin go all saggy, droopy, and crepey on you ruining your tat.
I’ve yet to see a single person where a tat helped their appearance. They could have spent those tat hours in the gym and gotten a lot more good looks for the money spent.
The net result of aging is Crepey Crapy Skin and inevitable death. If science finally overcomes the last it might mean they have to live forever with Biden as their President.
For me it's the noise ring.
Grew up in farm land Indiana. See a noise ring and all I can think of is "Moooo."
Or this...
To actually get serious about this post for a change from the norm around here. It is a good point. Planning for the future is an art and concept now lost to time.
