Doesn’t surprise me. There are lot of limousine Republicans who only see the party as a tool for their own political/social/ business agenda. They don’t care a wit about principals. Their only goal is being at the table when the graft is being divided up.

Maybe they were thinking of abortion, drugs, and general lawlessness when they said that. IOW their position may be that people should be less free to abort, smoke pot, and ransack the cities.
