I wonder - if some of the security sensors and such are tied into the same computer network. That would create a single point of failure. In the utility industry, where I work, the goal is always to not have a single point of failure for any critical systems. I would think that it would be the same with Israel’s security.
Although if the Jihadis were able to hack into some networking, along with jamming wi-fi (I doubt that they’d use wi-fi for anything serious, but you never know) or disabling critical comm lines, then they could at least create an area with no security.
But that said, if an area’s security systems all go down, you’d think that the IDF would immediately assume the worst and head forces that way.
Timing is important too. Say they disabled a large swath of the security systems along the border. You’d assume that there would be a time frame, maybe a few minutes, where they could rush the line/wall/fencing and be in before Israel could react.
Plus, the massive release of missiles, besides being damaging, could have served as a major distraction while they rushed the border. I’d like to see how it all unfolds as far as what happened.
But I will say this - how did their intel NOT know what was coming? I guess that question falls in line with other major acts like this - why didn’t we see 9/11 coming and why did we not see Pearl Harbor coming. Or did we.

I have a better understanding now of how the world works and what “THEY” have been trying to accomplish in the last 75+ years. The constant wars that destabilize and impoverish nations, foreign aid that never helps the people it was intended for, research money for diseases “THEY” already have cures for, manufactured catastrophes that destroy infrastructure and kill/maim/sicken ... I agree with you and think 911, Pearl Harbor and the latest peculiarities in Israel were all known in advance because they’ve all been planned to further the goals above. I can’t adequately express my disgust at the purposeful waste of life and resources, and especially the scum who cause it. Even hell is too good for them when they’re finally gone.
