Look up “irrelevant” in the dictionary,
and you will see a picture of Glenn Beck.
There was a debate?
It was the location, the cavern, echo created noise. In previous debates candidates spoke over each other, but the result was nothing like tonight. Further, the Univision host was pathetic, couldn’t even speak American English, Dana Perino was asleep during first half of the debate, and Stuart Varney barely got a word in edgewise. And some candidates, such as Ramaswami, couldn’t keep their mouth shut and take their turn. Aside from that, it really was a good discussion and debate.
Debates were destroyed over several years of horribly biased “moderators” who were openly hostile to whoever was most conservative and least loyal to the swamp. And legitimate 3rd party candidates who qualified were simply excluded. This also happened in party debates where candidates who meet every qualifier were arbitrary excluded.
The league of women’s voters and party machines destroyed them.
Glad to see them gone. They do not bear the slightest resemblance to Lincoln Douglas
They could only ever work if two moderators were used and one was a lib and the order was an Alex Jones or a Rush and the questions were unrestricted.
Also Party ringers need to be excluded from the audience and none of those idiotic townhall style debates.
I turned it on about 6:30, after Trump because I had to go somewhere.
It was inane.
The candidates and the coverage. They would talk in the breaks like they were analyzing a football game.
It’s empty if any real content.
For years I yearned for a debate on the EIB Network moderated by Rush. Alas, it never happened.
He would have been the best debate moderator ever. Nobody would have skated with him moderating.
Why would he bother to legitimize the ankle biters or the media format and narratives?
Debates are meaningless now. They’re of the television age. There really is no debate. Globalism is destroying everything. That’s the only “issue”. The only candidates I would consider at this point are 45 or DeSantis and maybe that Vivek guy but he has little chance. Christie and Haley are just globalists trying to cash in.
The focus group after the debates are more interesting than the actual debates.
*as long as Frank Luntz isn’t running them.
Sorry. Beck showed his @ss years ago what a “Dominionist” he was.
It’s a shame. His blackboard days were enlightening.
Given I am not voting for any of them there was no need to watch the freakshow.
Theater for the stupid. Moderated to appeal to the Deep State. Using the useless. The only thing possibly uplifting is that it’s slightly better than watching Biden sleep while wandering around aimlessly crapping hisself. No Thanks.
Fox needs to stay the hell out of all future debates for one thing.
DeSantis is against it, Vivek is against it - the rest think it's just dandy. Pathetic.
Was watching the news this morning before leaving for work (4:30). They were discussing the debate. The general opinion was that Traitor Pence needs to drop out.
Brought a smile to my face.
There was a debate?
I thought Chris Christie was doing well until his “Donald Duck” comment. He looked like a WWE wrestler doing a promo for an upcoming match, staring into the camera : “I know you’re out there Donald Trump, I know you’re watching this....”
