Just saw a cardiologist last week. I never had a cardiologist before. I’m 87.
Told him that before the stupid governor closed the gyms for “covid,” I was on the treadmill five days a week doing a mile in 14 minutes. Plus lifting weights. Had blood pressure like a teenager’s.
After gyms were close for “covid”, he told me, there was a big uptick in heart cases.
Everyone needs to get out and walk, do your best and get better at it.
Plus, keep your weight down. When cardiologist weighed me, I said, “oh good, I gained 5 pounds. Now up to 116. “ Cardiologist didn’t hear that often, most people need to loose weight.
