$250 deductible on the car. $500 deductible for the house. “Act of nature” did not raise my premiums.

Thank You, I knew someone would cover that pic for Me.

Now what’s this craziness about a $1735.98 for a 710 cap for a Tesla ?

Spark plug replacement: $355.77 — $417.07

Yeah, those inverted 32-cylinder up-canted rotary engines are a bitch for spark plug replacements. Just the way it is.

"cars are way over designed these days. Essentially iPHones on wheels."

Absolutely, and I believe all that unnecessary fluff is getting people killed.. TOO much distraction.!

I had that water in the taillight problem on my 1966 Dodge.
Couldn’t keep it from getting in, so I cut a slit in the housings so it could drip out.

I just replace a leaking radiator and also had a fair bit of maintenance done to my van. $1500. It seemed reasonable. I was at AAA.

I don’t buy new cars or bikes and I only buy what I have cash for. So I have driven rats for decades. If I had the cash to buy a new car I would get something made before 1975 and get it restored. I don’t want a car that reports my location and voice and gas consumption and everything else that goes on in or adjacent to my car. The more electronics the more data goes into NSAs’s data bank. EVs will go right along with digital currency and Social Credit scores.
