At least 10 protestors were arrested for blocking an MTA bus of migrants arriving at ambassador nursing home. It may have started around 10pm at Midland Ave & Father Capodanno Blvd. Cell video and a witness confirmed there were arrests made with some appearing to have resisted arrest. An army of NYPD SRG & CRT cops were on scene to separate the protestors and block pedestrian and vehicular traffic in multiple directions to prevent protestors from getting close to the new migrant shelter. Curtis Sliwa and the guardian angels were onscene, being cheered by the protestors. Curtis yelled at the army of cops and against usage of a drone during the protest.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but these are Biden busses, not busses sent by Texas, are they not?

I Ain’t A Scared of Your Jail
I ain’t a-scared of your jail, because I want my freedom
I want my freedom
I want my freedom
Ain’t a-scared of your jail, because I want my freedom
I want my freedom now!

I believe the buses are from the mayor, from Mahattan. How they got to Manhattan, I don’t know. Probably the feds.
It’s nice to know the NYPD is there to protect possible terrorists that illegally invaded our country.
I expected these fine Americans would welcome the chance to help someone less fortunate than themselves. What a bunch of New Yalk bigots.
The NYPD stopped being about fighting crime (even a little bit) back in 2020. They are strictly policy enforcement for the Democrats.
‘New York Democrat privately unloaded on his constituents’ opposition to the busing of migrants to their towns...
State Sen. John Mannion, who launched a bid for New York’s hotly contested 22nd congressional district in July, was caught on a Sept. 14 Zoom call discussing “the migrant issue” with other Democratic candidates...
‘“I represent those very Republican areas,” Mannion said in the leaked call.
“It is just unbelievable to me, but I’m not surprised at the ignorance.”’
What happened to the residents of the nursing home.
There needs to be more of this type thing
Not being from New York, I have no idea what SRG or CRT cops are. I’ll bet it’s something simple that I’ll go “Oh yeah” when told, but for now, can some please fill me in?
Out of curiosity, with all the talk about the illegals being shipped to NYC, Cali, NJ, Mass, and other Democrat heavy locales, have any been shipped to places like Georgetown or any of the other affluent, WHITE, liberal neighborhoods in the DC area?
I’ve been to Georgetown once. Went there for brunch with some friends on a really nice Sunday morning. Perhaps theeeeee whitest place I’ve ever been.
I’d love to see bus loads dropped off, smack dab in the middle of town, right there at M St and Wisconsin Ave. Just bus loads of men from Haiti, Senegal, Venezuela, China, and whatever other 3rd world dump you can think of.
Strategic Response Group/Critical Response Team. They are borough-wide units that can be quickly mobilized and sent to locations needing a large number of cops at short notice (riots, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, etc.) without impacting routine precinct patrol strength. They are not elite units, but typically have some additional training and equipment relative to patrol.
That sign says so much more than the words printed on it. It would make a stellar national campaign.
