Pull Back the Curtain on False Federal Narratives
American Thinker ^ | 23 Sep, 2023 | Deane Waldman, M.D.

From COVID, to the Second Amendment, to systemic racism and more, facts take a back seat in various government-endorsed narratives.

Narrative is a “a representation of a particular situation or process in such a way as to reflect or conform to an overarching set of aims, goals, themes, or values.” A narrative is a story – actual, distorted, even fabricated – created to convince others of narrator’s position or to justify narrator’s action.

Progressive-dominated Washington, aided and abetted by complicit media, has repeated narratives that are said to be widely accepted, yet are demonstrably false. Just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, pull aside the curtain to see what’s really there, rather than what they want us to see.

False narrative Number 1 was (and is) the COVID big con.

Washington presented a minor flu-like virus as a terrifying, life-ending illness comparable to Ebola or bubonic plague. Federal authorities declared a public health crisis and used it to justify suppression of constitutionally guaranteed civil liberties including quasi-martial law lockdowns, and even considered forced quarantine (internment) camps for the unvaccinated, as Australia activated.

Repeatedly fomenting public panic, Washington forced the entire population to accept injections of never-before-used, untested mRNA gene therapy disingenuously advertised as a “safe and effective vaccine.”

Federal officials and big pharma were the beneficiaries of the COVID scam. Washington took upon itself powers normally prohibited to it and “reserved to...the people.” Pharmaceutical manufacturers received billions of taxpayer dollars for supplying unnecessary but mandated mRNA shots.

False narrative Number 2 is systemic racism. Ignoring, sometimes disputing, the great strides made since 1964 in civil, legal, and societal equality, progressives in government allowed leftist agitators to riot, loot, burn, and even kill in riposte to a presumed system of racial inequality. While prejudice even racism are still extant...

False narrative Number 4 – gun control – is based on flawed logic. There is too much gun violence. If we get rid of guns, we get rid of gun violence. Simple, seductive, and wrong.

Well ... the author is not wrong. But it's not the key point as far as I'm concerned.

Right now there is news coming out about active censorship by the Federal government. And many people jump up and shout "First Amendment! First Amendment!" Everyone understands that issue. The Feds cannot censor you. It's real simple. Black and White. It's just wrong.

Well, the Second Amendment is just as clear. "Shall not be infringed". Therefore, all Gun Control is a violation of the Constitution.

Anyone who accepts "sensible gun control" is basically saying that they are OK with "sensible censorship". For me, the First and Second Amendments are equivalent and the issues ought to be treated identically. It's not about "logic" it's about reading the Constitution and respecting what it says.

We know that they are lying,

they know that they are lying, they even know that we know they are lying, we also know that they know we know they are lying too, they of course know that we certainly know they know we know they are lying too as well, but they are still lying. In our country, the lie has become not just moral category, but the pillar industry of this country.

Americans need to learn the truth, become aware of the mendacity of official narratives, and recognize why such falsehoods are perpetrated. Only then can they respond appropriately, by electing people who tell the truth and act according to the oath they swore on entering office...
Therein lies the problem and exposes the naivete of the author and others:

Those who vote INAPPROPRIATELY are the willful ignorant, groomed by years - in some cases decades - of progressive indoctrination and literally cast wide support both for not only those who craft such narratives but the narratives themselves.

The correct definition of such is domestic enemies.

The author's naivete is unintentionally exposed as the following with his repeated citation of "Americans" (6 times), because in this era there are 2 distinct classes of what the author cites as "Americans":

  1. Those who support the Constitution,
  2. Those who do NOT support the Constitution and undermine it with literally EVERY act (including both those who vote and those who seek power either through election or by cudgel via government).

The latter are NOT Americans.

There can be no denying that this is an era unprecedented in American history, one which is defined by looming dual conflict simultaneously:

A 'civil war' and one of rebellion against the state.

The sooner that true Americans - in this case 'mostly' Conservatives - collectively recognize that our options are rapidly diminishing to strictly utilizing our rights under 2A as decreed by the Founders under the Declaration's preamble, the sooner we can begin to reverse the damage which threatens our Republic.

Yes, that means recognizing that your neighbor - even your family member - isn't just a political foe, but the ENEMY.

And if this post ensures that I may 'cast the first stone' by becoming a target of the state, SO BE IT (so sayeth my oath).

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THE CONSTITUTION

“Well ... the author is not wrong.”

The author is absolutely correct. Law-abiding citizens may not have guns, but others (criminals, other nations) will. Giving up any of the several means of self-defense is irrational. If you can’t defend it, you don’t possess it.

Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don’t, as the saying goes.
