I don’t know how many economic idiots are spout the garbage you just spouted. The rise in oil prices domestially is one part of an overall pattern of stiffling inflation that is killing the American public. Inflation is the result of more money chasing less goods. More money is being printed by the $T’s annually. Every time the gubming increases the debt ceiling voila - more money. So choking off oil supplies to the US and our trading partners is just adding fuel to the inflation fire.
