Yes, the Cowboys' defense is that good and scary. Dak will choke in the end though.
Yeah, he’s a cornerback but just any cornerback. Arguably the best shut down cornerback in the league. This is a devastating development. Jerry Jones is gonna tie one on tonite that’s for sure. Drown his sorrows. It was looking so good too.....
The Plowboys always win the Super Bowl...every year.
IMO anything that hurts TV rating is good.
They’ll recover. The Cowboys’ defensive front line will step up, and there are plenty of good CBs on waivers.

The injury makes the NFL look bad. He will be replaced by one who makes the minimum wage. Experienced backups require a higher salary and don’t continue leaving the scrubs.
On the other hand it’s good for the eagles and niners. Is that good?
Las Vegas hosts the Raiders for 10 games. They never should have let them in. They should have built that stadium and been a host to a ‘neutral’ field game every week. Petition the NFL to have every team play a ‘home’ game there. Every Sunday night football game could be played in one venue. Tourists flock to the Strip from all over the country and blow their money.
$hit. You could play 2 games there every weekend. The danger would be gambling but that threat is already there.
The NFL has missed an opportunity.
I don’t have a dog in the NFC East. But as far as the Niners are concerned, Brock Purdy is both the 2nd coming of Montana and Brady. The guy was picked rock bottom at the very end of the draft.
A friend of mine, a USC Captain, defenseman, told me that in Football, there is always a chance of having a career ending injury in practice. It is part of the game.
He was drafted by the Browns, played one year and was cut after the next pre-season games.
He was not injured, he was just a step too slow on the pass rush.
Sadly he passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. He was a great guy and took it as a permanent injury. God rest you, Rich!
I think it’s the artificial turf that is causing a lot of these injuries. Guys are bigger and faster and when you put that much weight and speed without the natural cushion and give of natural grass, it’s gonna blow it out.
Aw crap, hope he can heal up fast
I cannot believe the loss of a cornerback is so detrimental to the Cowboys’ season. Injuries are a fact of life in the NFL - just ask the Cleveland Browns or the New York Jets. It’s next man up and deal with the problem. The teams that do that best are the teams that are successful.
I’m not a football expert, but Diggs has seemed like someone who could make the difficult or game-changing play in addition to the routine ones, providing “energy” to the team. Yes, the team will be successful if they move on and his replacement does his job and complements the other 10 on the field with him.
The Cowboys have won 5 playoff games in the last 27 years. This is fan abuse!
So they win one playoff game roughly every 5 years.
Perhaps the way Sports is ,the owners and sports guys on Sports Talk Radio and ESPN, try to tell the fans they had a great season if their team makes the playoffs every so often.
That’s a tough break to suffer an injury in practice.
We know football is a rough physical game and injuries are certainly part of the game. But this didn’t even happen in an actual game.
