There are black bears and moose in the area where I mountain bike sometimes. I think I ‘d rather run into a black bear than a moose.
That’s my experience too. I know more people injured or treed by Moose than black bears. Quite a few more. Also a pickup rammed by a bull moose. Wrecked the tailgate. Nasty tempered creatures.
