McLean Police District — The Tysons Urban Team (TUT) unit has taken down yet another organized theft ring from New York and recovered thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise.
Yesterday, TUT detectives were contacted at 9:09 p.m. by an employee from the Sunglass Hut store regarding a theft that just occurred. Suspects were seen on surveillance still inside the mall. Detectives found all three suspects and took them into custody. Approximately $15,000 worth of stolen merchandise was recovered. The stolen merchandise was found to belong to several businesses inside Tysons Corner Center to include Express, H&M, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, Guess, and Sunglass Hut. All suspects were transported to the ADC and held on no bond.

Jordan Pastrana-Roncancio was charged with Larceny with Intent to Sell, Conspire to Commit Larceny, two counts of Grand Larceny, and Petit Larceny.
Dayana Valentina Pastana-Roncancio 19, of New York
Dayana Valentina Pastana-Roncancio was charged with two counts of Grand Larceny, Conspire to Commit Larceny, and Larceny with Intent to Sell.
Hansbleidy Katerin Sanabria-Suarez 20, of New York
Hansbleidy Katerin Sanabria-Suarez was charged with two counts of Grand Larceny, Conspire to Commit Larceny, and Larceny with Intent to Sell.

Caught, but will they get appropriate sentences or just a slap on the wrist? Look for one or more NGOs to post their bond if bond is granted which it probably will and then look for them to magically disappear. Our criminal justice system is not really good at dealing with people of no fixed abode (New York today, Mexico City tomorrow).
My personal opinion is the they should be held in jail until their trial and then if found guilty impaled.
