Okay Rand. You just said you would not consent to any fast spending on war money to the Ukraine.

Rand Paul cannot block a Senate bill on his own. All he can do is refuse to accept whatever procedural shortcuts the Senate puts in place to get a bill passed quickly without going through the formal committee work, cloture process, and a roll call vote.

That’s what he means by “fast spending.”

My point exactly. They can stall the inevitable for just so long if they have no intention of stopping it. He didn’t say that. He said it would be no quick sale. So, long or short, it still arrives and we are out the money and property for something that has nothing to do with us and they brought upon themselves whether it is accomplished sooner or later. He told me he was going to accomplish nothing but spend more time doing it.

And surprise! The more time it is kept in committee and before it is shipped will determine how much will be added to the free welfare sent from the original amount. (With possible pork thrown in) That’s called applied sales. The can of worms just went to king size and will just stay on the shelf a little longer during the Pandora’s box rush. They aren’t stopping it. And he didn’t say he was. So what good is it but possible harm? Thanks for the getting stale persimmons cousin Rand.
