A lady brought a baby hummingbird into our shop one time. She had it carefully ensconced in a scarf. It was a highpoint of our day. I think it was a rescue, not a pet, and that she had to keep it with her to feed it on time.
I’ve carried baby birds around for weeks while raising them; I kept them in little hospital cages. A Hummingbird would be a MAJOR project.
