Classic 1980’s movie.
I remember this being on TV back in the mid 1980s (when I was in my mid teens), kind of freaked me out. I remember Charles Haid from Hill Street Blues being in it.
A Ken Russell extravaganza!
Excellent. I’m watching it now. How do you get rid of the Spanish subtitles? I’ve looked under “settings” but can’t find the off switch.
Saw this movie recently, twice. My opinion, good acting, dumb and illogical story.
This movie freaked me out as well. William Hurt also made
a terrific movie with Kathleen Turner BODY HEAT, a steamy
murder w/Richard Crenna, as the victim. Blair Brown has also
done a movie w/John Belushi, entitled CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.
I saw this in a theater when it first came out. The sound system was set so loud that I didn’t notice the minor earthquake that actually happened during the show.
Not a very good movie; I’ve never been tempted to see it again.
Met William Hurt in NYC the year the towers are attacked. Very nice, intelligent man.
Hurt was good in “Broadcast News”.
RR, Spanish? Have no idea. the movie link given here is
speaking English. Pulling legs again?
Wasn’t he also in Shirley McLaines OUT ON A LIMB?
They're not that much of a problem actually. I'll just keep on going and not worry about subtitles.
Thx again for all you do with the old movies. I love 'em.
I remember that one.
Me too, love them as well.
Several months ago you mentioned a move by the name of
Life Force. Had you been searching? Found it for you
here:

Thx much! Life Force is one of my all-time favorites (and I have no idea why).
lol happy to have helped. Searched not long after you originally posted but could never find. Then, as I was replying
attempted to do so once more and bingo. There it was.
