What idiot thinks we have US troops fighting in Ukraine?

Do you fantasize that world peace can somehow maintain itself?
It won't and there's nobody else to do it.

1. The US alone is still about 15% of the world's GDP, based on estimates of PPP -- purchase price parity.

2. The US plus our NATO and Pacific allies have over 40% of the world's GDP at PPP.

3. Neutral but relatively friendly countries like India, Indonesia and Brazil could bring the total to 50% of world GDP, and that does not include other countries in Central and South America which could add another ~5%.

Nations overtly hostile to the USA, notably China, Russia, Iran and North Korea combined make up around 25% of world GDP at PPP, and they can strongly influence the remaining ~20% of poorer countries, mainly in Africa and Asia.

So we are still the free world's leader, and without us there will be no peace on earth because hostile countries like China & Russia will gain increasing influence and control over not just poor small countries, but also in larger neutral countries such as those represented by the term "BRICS".

In sum: if we don't do it, nobody else will, and there will be no peace on earth or goodwill towards free people, only warfare, conquest and empire building, such as we see now in Ukraine and may soon in Taiwan and elsewhere.

Peace cannot maintain itself; freedom is never free.
