Until now I haven’t commented on Derek Johnson. I never liked him, but felt like I was criticizing someone on our side and I hate to do that.
But I finally figured out what my issue is with him.
Johnson tries to bully people into his point of view. He yells and swears. I can deal with a certain amount of yelling and swearing. But Johnson yells and swears AT HIS AUDIENCE. At me. I don’t like that at all. Not simply because of the yelling and swearing but because he is trying to bully and coerce me into agreeing with him. I refuse to be bullied - even on points where I might agree.
We Anons/FReeQs are better than that. We present facts and theories. We endeavor to persuade. But we leave it up to the listener to decide whether to agree or not.
We also invite discussion. Personally, I like to throw a theory out on this thread and get reactions. Sometimes people agree. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they poke holes in my theory. All are good.
