I'm asking for prayers for my Mom, who is having some severe circulatory issues in her leg, is going to lose a toe and possibly her foot. It isn't diabetes, but a genetic vascular problem.
I know this works, because the prayers for my Dad get credit in him recovering from a shattered pelvis. He's recovered, and back on his feet and getting around without a cane or walker (at 92).
All things are possible with The Lord.
Prayers up!
May the Lord bring healing to your Mom, and complete restoration and mobility, in Jesus Name.

May I ask your Mom”s name?
Mon’s name is Joan.
Mom’s name....
I spoke with my sister, and much is contingent on the results of an angioplasty coming up this week. The big toe, and probably part of the foot will likely go, the question is one of what will be sustainable and expected to recover. Those questions are yet to be answered.
Thank you all for your prayers, and please continue, as this may not be resolved quickly. I trust in The Lord; He knows what He is doing.
Will pray for your Mom Joe.
Thanks. She is in my prayers but with a name, it is more personable. Please keep us posted.
Thank you all for your prayers.
I am awaiting for updates from evaluations which will take a couple of days...
An update: The artery has been roto-rootered, possibly for the last time because of issues with the contrast and reactions to the drugs that cut down on the reactions to it. Now, in order for her to have a chance to keep the leg, she has to exercise (walk, mainly). If she doesn’t there will be pain from dying tissue, if she does, there will be pain from recovering tissue. Either way, it’s going to hurt. Think recovering from frostbite, which feels like the affected area is on fire (BTDT). Please pray that her pain be minimal enough to do what she needs to to recover, and that she is granted the strength to do so. Depending on the outcome, either the big toe on that foot will be removed, or more.
Latest update. The angioplasty did not work. Due to lack of circulation and infection, her foot and leg below the knee have been amputated, the wound closed, and Mom is in the rehab unit for monitoring as the stump heals and for getting back on her feet. It will be a while before she can be fitted with a prosthetic.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint, but she has embraced the idea of OT/PT and is working hard with the program, knowing this is the only way to get back on her feet.
Please pray for her to have the strength to keep it up and the spirit to continue. Dad is a bit of a mess about all this, not used to ‘batching it’ after 70 years of marriage, and he could use your prayers as well. It’s a big adjustment, and I fear just the first of many.
Thank you in advance for your prayers, I know God has a plan, and He knows what he is doing.
