We make our Brussel Sprouts by first frying up bacon cut into about 1” squares.
Take the bacon out of the pan and the put in halved Brussel sprouts and stir fry them for 10 minutes. I add some olive oil if I need more oil.
Then add some sliced or diced onions and stir fry until just soft.
Add the bacon back in, mix, and serve.
That really does sound good.
IIRC that does sound pretty much like my daughter did. I will have to ask her again.
