Confusion on China
American Thinker ^ | 16 Sep, 2023 | William R. Hawkins

There has been criticism of President Joe Biden’s rambling performance at his Hanoi press conference and not just from partisan outlets. But there was also substance, both good and bad, in his remarks that indicate two important aspects of the administration. The use of diplomatic boilerplate to cover actions that speak louder than words, and the obvious differences in policy agendas within the executive branch which Biden merely repeats without being able to reconcile, giving the impression he is merely a placeholder and not the true leader.

Biden raised eyebrows with his claims about not wanting to “contain” or “hurt” China, and that “We’re all better off if China does well -- if China does well by the international rules. It grows the economy.” It is clear that we (meaning not just America but the world) are worse off if the Beijing communist regime is doing well at expanding its power and influence given its aggressive nature. Its economy is what provides the means for it to expand its military and acquire strategic assets both at home and abroad. Biden was right to hope that China’s current economic problems make an invasion of Taiwan less likely by reducing its capabilities.

Biden’s trips to India and Vietnam were to “strengthen alliances around the world to maintain stability” which means containing Chinese expansion. A Comprehensive Strategic Partnership was declared with a former enemy in Hanoi. India has moved from nonalignment to active membership in the Quad with the U.S., Japan, and Australia, all building up their military strength to counter Beijing’s threats. The agreements signed in New Delhi stressed U.S.-India defense industry cooperation and the shifting of supply chains away from China (also mentioned in Vietnam).

China fought us in Korea 5 years after we helped them in WW2.

What did Russia do for us after Lend Lease? Giving us info on the Tarnov brothers perhaps but an open border led to that.

I believe much of the problem with Russia is because of the way we have treated them. Globalists, deep-state, democrats, military industrial complex, CIA, etc., need a villain to keep their agenda going. It’s good for business. It’s job security (pensions) for most of them.

Our relations with Russia were pretty good before obama and Hillary took over the state department. Obviously, the greatest threat to us at the time was from the Muslim world. Obama and Hillary couldn’t have muslims at our main enemy. Russia represents a nation run by white men to many. Both obama and hillary hate white men.

obama and hillary overthrew Libya for other reasons. They greatly destabilized that nation. Libya wasn’t a threat to anyone. Muammar Gaddafi opened up his weapons arsenal for UN inspections. They weren’t a threat.

Like Libya, obama/hillary also wanted to invade Syria but Putin stuck his nose in it to prevent it. obama and hillary were setting us up to invade Syria with the thin red line nonsense, white helmets (mostly phony), and I don’t believe Assad was the only one gassing his people. The stage was being set for our invasion. obama was offended that Putin quickly put troops in Syria and derailed obama and hillary’s planned invasion.

Assad was a strong ruler but you have to be in the muslim world. But for the most part, he wasn’t a problem. In fact, most of the Christians that fled Iraq and Iran during their conflicts went to Syria where they knew Christians would be protected.

obama wanted it to appear that he was fighting ISIS but for the most part, he ignored ISIS. He looked the other way. Russia had a lot to do with defeating ISIS. They deserve more credit than they are given.

Trump campaigned that he would try to work with the Russians where we had common goals — defeating ISIS was one of them at the time.

Democrats created their phony Russian scandal to damage the Trump administration and further isolate Russia. Again, the Russians were made to be the bad guys. If you recall, hussein obama threw out 35 Russian diplomats soon after Trump had won the election and just before he took office. They set the stage to make it very difficult for Trump to work with the Russians. obama and hillary undermined the Trump administration and destabilized our relations with Russia.

obama, hillary, globalists, deep-state, democrats, military industrial complex, CIA, etc., have got their villain. They isolated Russia and have their villain. Now we can continue to spend billions on new weapons, send billions to the corrupt Ukraine, play the world’s police, justify funding corrupt federal intelligence agencies, etc.

I am not saying Russia is clean in all this but obama/hillary/deep-state/globalists/military Industrial complex/etc., made it far more difficult to work with them.

I will add that obama/hillary have more blood on their hands from the invasion of Libya. An estimated 20,000 died in the recent floods of when the damns collapsed. Libya was very wealthy before the invasion. They haven’t been able to maintain basic infrastructure because of the pillage obama/hillary did to them.

I will add that I am not justifying Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. I am just saying that some people made it far more difficult to work with them.

boycott- you are very smart.

*Both obama and hillary hate white men.*In Hillary’s case just ask Bill.

*Like Libya, obama/hillary also wanted to invade Syria but Putin stuck his nose in it to prevent it.* We need some/more proof.

*In fact, most of the Christians that fled Iraq and Iran during their conflicts went to Syria where they knew Christians would be protected.* Point to how we’re better off hen muslims fight amongst themselves. We shod followed Sen. Biden’s advice and carve out an independent Kurdistan in Iraq. The Kurds in Iran would then want to join. Then think of those in Syria/Turkey. All would go to was over it. Give the captured Iraqi weapons to them.

The administration, the deep-state, media, etc., had built up a case to invade Syria. Putin didn’t want to see us destroy another of their allies. He put troops on the ground right before we invaded. This pulled the rug out from under obama/hillary. They didn’t like it and held a grudge. Russia was the perfect villain for them.

A villain gives us a reason to keep spending. Politicians, deep-state, globalists, military industrial complex, CIA, etc., profit by keeping it stirred.

“””China fought us in Korea 5 years after we helped them in WW2. What did Russia do for us after Lend Lease?”””

They both fought us in Korea and Vietnam and opposed us everywhere else.

"China fought us in Korea 5 years after we helped them in WW2."
We helped Chiang Kai-shek's Nationalist Government that was fighting the communists in the north as well as the Japanese, and were forced to move to Taiwan after the war.
