Diversion, fakes about the Russian army, coup d’état, terrorism – such articles of the Russian criminal code threaten those dissatisfied with Putin’s power. In modern Russia, a person can go to prison without even breaking the law. It is enough just to publicly disagree with the Kremlin’s policies.

Actually, no. You're dead wrong.

Since 1978, NATO has encroached on Russia's borders despite agreeing that they wouldn't do so.

Obama/Hillary's incursion into Ukraine to install a puppet government in 2014 was the last straw.

Head of State holds meeting to discuss protection of Ukraine’s interests and principles of free trade with EU after talk with President of European Commission
President of Ukraine Official Website
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
15 September 2023 - 22:13
https://www.president.gov.ua/en/news/za-rezultatami-rozmovi-z-prezidentom-yevrokomisiyi-glava-der-85653

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a lengthy meeting with government officials and the team from the Office of the President of Ukraine regarding the further strategy for protecting Ukraine’s interests and the principles of free trade with the European Union. The meeting took place immediately after a talk with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen resulted in the agreement that all temporary restrictions imposed by the EU will expire today, September 15.

The Head of State, together with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna, Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solsky, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka, and Deputy Heads of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva and Rostyslav Shurma, planned further steps to support Ukrainian agrarians.

The meeting participants agreed to develop a series of effective measures in the near future to prevent similar crises from arising in the future and to protect the principles of free competition in Europe.

The Ukrainian side is in constant contact with European partners and is working on practical solutions that will allow for the optimization of agricultural exports in the interests of the entire European community without causing damage to the domestic economy.

The President of Ukraine expects that the European Commission will refrain from imposing any restrictions on Ukrainian exports in the future. Possible unilateral restrictions by some EU member countries will receive an appropriate response from Ukraine.

Participants of the meeting expressed confidence that Ukraine, as a future EU member, should already be working with European partners on long-term solutions and constant liberalization to strengthen security and free trade in Europe.

I pray every day that this insanity will end

It's not going to happen because Washington, D.C. is full of corrupt & sadistic pedophiles who need to use Ukraine as their clearinghouse for bribes and kickbacks to fund their lavish lifestyles.

That is why they are giving Ukraine billions of dollars of our fiat currency to keep the grift going while giving the middle finger to Legacy Americans who are being destroyed by illegal aliens, drugs, WEF directives, and transnational corporations.

YOU ARE INCORRECT

Since Russia began its aggressive actions against Ukraine, Russian officials have accused NATO of a series of threats and hostile actions. NATO FACTS
https://www.nato.int ^ | 27 Jan. 2022 11:17 | NATO Organization

Since Russia began its aggressive actions against Ukraine, Russian officials have accused NATO of a series of threats and hostile actions. This webpage sets out the facts.

TOP FIVE RUSSIAN MYTHS DEBUNKED

Debunked

MYTH 1: NATO promised Russia it would not expand after the Cold War
Fact: Such an agreement was never made. NATO’s door has been open to new members since it was founded in 1949 – and that has never changed. This “Open Door Policy” is enshrined in Article 10 of NATO’s founding treaty, which says “any other European State in a position to further the principles of this Treaty and to contribute to the security of the North Atlantic” can apply for membership. Decisions on membership are taken by consensus among all Allies. No treaty signed by the United States, Europe and Russia included provisions on NATO membership.

The idea of NATO expansion beyond a united Germany was not on the agenda in 1989, particularly as the Warsaw Pact still existed. This was confirmed by Mikhail Gorbachev in an interview in 2014: “The topic of ‘NATO expansion’ was not discussed at all, and it wasn’t brought up in those years. I say this with full responsibility. Not a single Eastern European country raised the issue, not even after the Warsaw Pact ceased to exist in 1991. Western leaders didn’t bring it up, either.”

Declassified White House transcripts also reveal that, in 1997, Bill Clinton consistently refused Boris Yeltsin’s offer of a ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ that no former Soviet Republics would enter NATO: “I can’t make commitments on behalf of NATO, and I’m not going to be in the position myself of vetoing NATO expansion with respect to any country, much less letting you or anyone else do so…NATO operates by consensus.”

MYTH 2: NATO is aggressive and a threat to Russia
Fact: NATO is a defensive alliance, whose purpose is to protect our members. NATO’s official policy is that “the Alliance does not seek confrontation and poses no threat to Russia.” NATO didn’t invade Georgia; NATO didn’t invade Ukraine. Russia did.

NATO has reached out to Russia consistently and publicly over the past 30 years. We worked together on issues ranging from counter-narcotics and counter-terrorism to submarine rescue and civil emergency planning – even during periods of NATO enlargement. However, in 2014, in response to Russia’s aggressive actions against Ukraine, NATO suspended practical cooperation with Russia. We do not seek confrontation, but we can’t ignore Russia breaking international rules, undermining our stability and security.

In response to Russia’s use of military force against Ukraine, NATO deployed four multinational battlegroups to the Baltic States and Poland in 2016. These units are not permanently based in the region, are in line with Allies’ international commitments, and amount to around 5,000 troops. They do not pose a threat to Russia’s 1,000,000 strong army. Before Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea, there were no Allied troops in the eastern part of the Alliance.

NATO remains open to meaningful dialogue with Russia. That is why NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has invited all members of the NATO-Russia Council to a series of meetings to discuss European security, including the situation in and around Ukraine, NATO-Russia relations, and arms control and non-proliferation.

MYTH 3: Ukraine cannot join NATO
Fact: NATO Allies welcome Ukraine’s aspirations to join NATO and they stand by the decision made at the 2008 Bucharest Summit that Ukraine will become a member of the Alliance.
Decisions regarding NATO membership are up to each individual applicant and the 30 NATO Allies. No one else. Russia has no right to intervene and cannot veto this process.

Like every country, Ukraine has the sovereign right to choose its own security arrangements. This is a fundamental principle of European security, one that Russia has also signed up to, including through the Helsinki Final Act (1975), the Charter of Paris (1990), the NATO-Russia Founding Act (1997) and the Charter for European Security (1999).

MYTH 4: NATO is encircling and trying to contain Russia map
Fact: NATO is a defensive alliance, whose purpose is to protect our member states. Our exercises and military deployments are not directed against Russia – or any other country.

This myth also ignores geography. Only 6% of Russia’s land borders touch NATO countries. Russia has land borders with 14 countries. Only five of them are NATO members.

Outside NATO territory, the Alliance only has a military presence in Kosovo and Iraq. The KFOR peacekeeping mission is carried out with a United Nations Security Council mandate.

NATO’s non-combat mission in Iraq contributes to the fight against terrorism and is carried out at the request of the Iraqi government, with full respect for Iraq’s sovereignty. In contrast, Russia has military bases and soldiers in three countries – Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine – without the consent of their governments. Russia also has amassed over 100,000 troops on Ukraine’s border and is threatening to invade Ukraine.

MYTH 5: NATO’s interventions in the former Yugoslavia, Kosovo and Libya prove that the Alliance is not defensive
Fact: The former Yugoslavia did not break up because of NATO. The Alliance did not use military force to change borders in the former Yugoslavia. From 1992-1995, NATO conducted several military operations in Bosnia, including enforcing a no-fly-zone and providing air support for UN peacekeepers. These activities were mandated by the United Nations Security Council, of which Russia is a member. NATO air strikes against Bosnian Serb positions in 1995 helped pave the way for the Dayton peace agreement, which ended the war in Bosnia that had killed over 100,000 people. From 1996 onwards, NATO led multinational peacekeeping forces in Bosnia, which included troops from Russia. The European Union took over that mission in 2004.

The NATO-led operation in Libya in 2011 was launched under the authority of two UN Security Council Resolutions (UNSCR), 1970 and 1973, neither of which was opposed by Russia. UNSCR 1973 authorized the international community “to take all necessary measures” to “protect civilians and civilian populated areas under threat of attack”. This is what NATO did, with the political and military support of regional states and members of the Arab League.

NATO’s operation in Kosovo in 1999 followed over a year of intense diplomatic efforts by the UN and the Contact Group, of which Russia was a member, to end the conflict. The UN Security Council repeatedly branded the ethnic cleansing in Kosovo and the mounting number of refugees as a threat to international peace and security. NATO’s mission helped to end large-scale and sustained violations of human rights and the killing of civilians. KFOR, NATO’s ongoing peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, has a UNSC mandate (UNSCR 1244) and is supported by both Belgrade and Pristina.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy holds meeting on strengthening sustainability of democracy in Ukraine
President of Ukraine Official Website
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
15 September 2023 - 21:44
https://www.president.gov.ua/en/news/volodimir-zelenskij-proviv-naradu-shodo-posilennya-stijkosti-85649

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with representatives of the Government of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, law enforcement agencies, the prosecutor’s office, and anti-corruption agencies, at which the concept of strengthening the sustainability of democracy in Ukraine was discussed.

The Head of State said that along with today’s most important challenge of repelling the aggression of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian authorities must also work on overcoming external and internal threats and implementing other elements, in particular, ensuring justice for our citizens.

For this, as Zelenskyy pointed out, steps are needed to make it possible ensuring the implementation of justice that people will feel.

“Such measures are extremely necessary and should have very concrete manifestations in state policy,” the President said.

In view of this, the meeting participants proposed that a concept of strengthening the sustainability of democracy in Ukraine is prepared and a step-by-step plan for its implementation is developed.

In response, the Head of State said that the measures contained in the concept should apply to absolutely everything: the protection of Ukraine’s national security, the final elimination of oligarchic and corrupt influence, and so on.

The President thanked the law enforcement officers for all the work they have done, especially for the results of the past months.

“We see very clearly that there is no future for oligarchic clans in Ukraine. This is evident from those criminal cases pursued by law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies. This should yield long-term results,” Zelenskyy said.

In addition, according to the President’s conviction, the state must provide long-term effective guarantees that, regardless of the developments in Russia, Ukraine will be protected from activities aimed at undermining democracy within our country.

“We must protect our state, system, our values, above all, freedom and democracy,” he said.

The meeting participants also agreed that the concept should contain steps toward supporting the development of competition, de-monopolization and fair distribution of resources, development of transparent mechanisms of interaction with the state.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada and other public authorities must take a series of steps to strengthen parliamentarism and the ability of voters to influence state’s governance, enhance the institutional capacities of public authorities, including law enforcement agencies, the prosecutor’s office and anti-corruption agencies, develop the judiciary, implement equality policy guarantees in relations between the state and all economic entities, expand the opportunities for Ukrainian citizens to influence political decisions and the course of the state, and more.

“Justice is important to us. There is a corresponding political will. And thanks to the systematic and coordinated work of public institutions in Ukraine, as well as the support of civil society, I am sure we can implement all this,” the President concluded.

Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vyhivsky, Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Pavlo Kyrylenko, Deputy Prosecutor General, Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office Oleksandr Klymenko, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Semen Kryvonos, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Maliuska, Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention Oleksandr Novikov, acting Director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine Andriy Paschuk, and Director of the State Bureau of Investigation Oleksiy Sukhachev attended the meeting.

President: Ukrainian rescuers demonstrate fortitude and dedication to our country and people every day
President of Ukraine Official Website
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
15 September 2023 - 14:13
https://www.president.gov.ua/en/news/ukrayinski-ryativniki-shodnya-demonstruyut-nashij-krayini-ta-85629

The Head of State thanked the employees of the State Emergency Service for maintaining the viability of the entire Ukrainian society, cities and villages amid the war unleashed by Russia.

“Eliminating the consequences of Russian shelling, extinguishing fires, rescuing people from under the rubble, de-mining our Ukrainian land, destroying Russian unexploded ordnance, delivering humanitarian aid to the de-occupied territory, restoring critical infrastructure and networks - all this is your job. All this is everyday life for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The President emphasized that the daily work of the State Emergency Service employees resulted in thousands of lives saved, over 100,000 fires extinguished, and over 430,000 explosive devices disarmed.

“Ukrainian invincibility is literally the result of your work, in particular. It is often extremely risky, but heroic, when a bulletproof vest becomes a mandatory element of a rescuer’s overalls, when it is necessary to save people, and the shelling continues. When you work in the cities and districts shelled by Russia every day,” the Head of State noted.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, 435 Ukrainian rescuers have been awarded state awards, and three SES employees have been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

“287 employees of the State Emergency Service were wounded while performing their duties. 80 Ukrainian rescuers were killed,” the President said.

The Head of State emphasized that our warriors often do impossible things to chase away the occupiers and bring the Ukrainian victory closer.

“This heroism at the front should be based on the dedication and focus of people in the rear. Everyone who works for the sake of our country. Those whose profession is to save and help, and those who feel life in such a way, respect life so much that they become the rescuers of other lives,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The President emphasized that today the bravery of not only professional employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, but also ordinary people who saved the lives of others is being honored.

“I thank all of you - all of you who are rescuing - for setting this kind of example - an example of dedication and focus on the interests of the state and people,” he added.
The audience observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen heroic Ukrainian rescuers.

The President presented the Orders “For Courage” of the II and III degrees to the employees of the State Emergency Service.

In the presence of the Head of State, the winners of the Hero - Rescuer of the Year nationwide action were also awarded. The award was given to Ukrainians who demonstrated courage and heroism while saving lives in the face of a full-scale Russian invasion.

MYTH 1: NATO promised Russia it would not expand after the Cold War

Yet, they did. Since 1978 NATO has incorporated new nations into their "defensive" alliance and has repeatedly violated Russia's concerns about encroachment onto their historical borders.

MYTH 2: NATO is aggressive and a threat to Russia

They are, because they're using the U.S. to fund & provide military equipment to Ukraine, while NATO itself can use plausible deniability. NATO needs to keep up the Russia boogeyman to stay relevant.

MYTH 3: Ukraine cannot join NATO

What part of "using the U.S. as a proxy" do you not understand? They are using the pathetic old tools in D.C. to do the dirty work and provide the heavy lifting, as the U.S. has done for all these stupid globalist organizations for decades, going back to the League of Nations.

MYTH 4: NATO is encircling and trying to contain Russia map

Yes, they've been doing this since 1978, and it has accelerated when Obama/Hillary/Nuland installed their puppet government in 2014, resulting in 100 Ukrainians getting shot dead during the takeover.

MYTH 5: NATO’s interventions in the former Yugoslavia, Kosovo and Libya prove that the Alliance is not defensive

That's completely irrelevant, a total sidebar issue.
