These are the California teachers who failed to suspend the teen bullies who killed Diego Stolz, 13, a week after he begged them for help.
Stolz, 13, died in September 2019 days after being punched in the head from behind by a 14-year-old boy and subsequently hitting his head against a pillar at Landmark Middle School in Moreno Valley, California.
Diego had been picked-on by his bullies the week before his death but the school's assistant principal Kamilah O'Connor is alleged to have failed to suspend them as promised, leaving them free to kill days later.
The Stolz family claim that O'Connor had assured Diego's family that his bullies would be dealt with promptly, but failed to act on her words and the bullies were able to conduct the fatal assault.
Assistant Principal O'Connor had worked under Principal Scott Walker at the school in California.
Shortly after Diego passed away, the Moreno Valley Unified School District replaced both teachers along with another assistant principal.
The wrongful death suit filed by the family of Stolz was settled by Moreno Valley Unified School District on Wednesday for $27 million and is the largest bullying payout in history.
Harrowing footage showed him being shoved into a concrete pillar and banging his head, before the bullies continued to rain blows on him while he was unconscious.
The two boys then continued punching Stolz as he lay on the ground. He never regained consciousness and died nine days later from a brain injury.
His tearaway tormentors, who have never been identified, subsequently pleaded guilty to manslaughter but walked away with no prison sentences.
In 2020, the boys entered the equivalent of guilty pleas in juvenile court to charges of involuntary manslaughter and assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury.

There will be plenty of money left to take care of the bullies. Can always sue the parents for wrongful death in a civil case , and if that doesn’t work there could be other remedies.
There is always a video. Always look for the camera.
They got 27 million from the school. How about suing a school if they affirm a trans person without telling parents and the kid gets transitioned medically and surgically, then wants to detransition? Detransitioners are starting to sue therapists and docs already. What about schools? That might teach them to stay out of students personal lives.
The attacker had darker skin. Therefore, not guilty.
Like I’ve said before much of the ills at schools come from the administrators then down to the teachers.
What’s the old saying? Stuff rolls down hill and gathers speed?
Race death?
They already sued the school
I like the idea of suing the parents too
the 'Additional training' should include a month of nightly being drop offs alone in the barrio by a stretch limo while dressed to the nines with fake jewelry, knock-ff gucchi, inop iPhones and monopoly money.
It appears that THE most dangerous place for children to be...IS IN A GOVERNMENT PUBLIC SCHOOL.
What a disgrace...AND THE MURDERERS ARE NOT TO BE IDENTIFIED?????
Th inmates are decidedly running the Asylum.
Another reason to believe that California is a peek into what HE!! looks like.
Yep. Black administrators refused to suspend the black bullies since the victim was just a Hispanic kid. They probably don’t care that he’s dead, either.
I KNEW I didn’t have to look!!
Black privilege. Did the Assistant Principal keep her job?
If I was the father, this story would read very much differently...
Thats why I homeschool. Parents should be charged for negligence for sending that child back to the wolves that destroyed him. EVERYONE involved should be sentenced to DEATH. Keep pi$$ing God off and you aren’t going to like the results.
