13 Sep: Ukrainian Leopard Tank Single-Handedly STORMED Russian Tank Group | Ukraine War Update Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their advance on the southern front lines with western main battle tanks and armored vehicles.
Today clashes are intensifying on a section of the Т0803 highway passing near the settlements of Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novopokrovka, Pavlivske, Novofedorivka, Verbove and Robotyne. This highway route runs southeast from Orikhiv and diverges south towards Robotyne and Verbove. In these areas, German Leopard 2A tanks and Challenger main battle tanks sent to the Ukrainians by the United Kingdom continue to break through Russian trenches. In addition, the main Ukrainian axis of attack in Zaporizhia stretches from Novoprokopivka southwest to Tokmak.

New footage has emerged of the face-to-face encounters between Western battle tanks and Russian tanks in the Ukrainian army’s inventory. Leopard 2A6 tanks faced Russian T-80BV tanks for the first time. The epic footage of a Leopard 2A6 main battle tank single-handedly defeating 2 Russian tanks shocked the audience. Here are all the details of these shocking moments. The Leopard 2 tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two enemy tanks in battle. These critical moments were broadcast on X. The video was filmed during the continuation of counter-attack actions in the Zaporizhia region. The video also shows a Leopard 2A6 tank firing at two Russian T-80BV tanks.
As a result of this hot clash, one Russian tank was heavily damaged, after which two enemy combat vehicles were withdrawn from the position. Kontakt-1 ERA modules primarily protect armored vehicles from HEAT projectiles. When a shaped charge enters the ERA module, two protection elements located inside the casing of each such unit are detonated. Thanks to these features, German Leopard 2 tanks are capable of destroying Russian main battle tanks and armored fighting vehicles.
This is because the main battle tanks used by the Russians on Ukrainian territory generally reflect the old Soviet-era inspirations and features. In addition to these critical successes of the Leopard 2 battle tanks in the Ukrainian army’s inventory, there is new news about the M1 Abrams tanks that the US plans to provide to Kiev. The US has decided to extend the training of Kiev’s troops consisting of 31 refurbished Abrams tanks. About 200 Ukrainian soldiers will continue to hone their skills in operating and repairing the tanks for a few more weeks at US bases in Germany, even after the main training exercises ended last month.

Blistering strikes saw up to seven huge explosions resulting in a massive inferno in the Sevastopol port in annexed Crimea. The Kilo-class Rostov-on-Don sub was damaged in the shipyard strike, stated Kremlin-friendly Shot media. The diesel-electric vessel, launched in 2014, had been used to attack Ukraine, and a second damaged vessel was a large landing ship called Minsk. This follows earlier damage in the war to landing ships Saratov, Novocherkassk, and Caesar Kunikov. The Putin-appointed governor of occupied Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said at least 24 people were wounded and two died.

It was an important day. The Military Cabinet - there were some details that I cannot talk about now, but that will be very effective in the war.
I held a meeting with Prime Minister Shmyhal and Minister of Finance Marchenko on next year’s budget.
I outlined the key parameters - what should be prioritized in the state budget.
The key is to protect our state and people. Defense and security are the first priority, and the funding for defense and security will be at least at the level of this year, i.e. one trillion six hundred billion hryvnias. At least!
Next year, we will add significant budget funds for the defense industry - for the production of weapons in Ukraine. And for the drones. Both for the purchase of what is needed abroad and for the Ukrainian production. In addition, almost 100 billion hryvnias will be allocated for the production of weapons, overseen by the Ministry of Strategic Industry, and for the Ukrainian drone army, which is showing very good, impressive results. I will support all of this.
A separate budget priority is to support our veterans.
We also keep social expenditures as a priority. At least 469 billion hryvnias. There will be additional funds for the healthcare system - at least 24 billion plus to this year’s expenditures. There will be a plus for the education system, primarily to support teachers and lecturers.
We are investing the necessary funds in digitalization, including our Mriia, a new tool for children, parents, and teachers that we have already presented in advance. Next year, Mriia should be fully operational and available to Ukrainians in every corner of the world!
Of course, there will be a significant indexation of pensions - we plan to do it in March, as required by law.
But, in addition to all this, we place a very important economic emphasis in the budget. We are adding incentives for the economy - production, jobs, investments. All the things needed to help Ukraine recover faster.
Government officials will present the details of such incentives. This includes the connection to the power grid for investors, the continuation of grant programs, mortgage programs, and the development of Ukrainian industrial parks.
I instructed the Prime Minister to prepare the basis for raising the minimum wage in Ukraine in the first half of next year.
Absolutely all elements of state work must be adjusted so that we can determine the timing of the end of this war here in Ukraine ourselves. With our victory. Our weapons that will reach all the goals necessary for Ukraine. Our economy that will be able to provide Ukrainians with the jobs they need. Social functions of the state that must be fulfilled. State functionality, especially digital functionality, which must become more advanced than anywhere else in Europe. All these are our tools to bring Ukraine’s victory closer.
And our cooperation with our partners - with everyone in the world who is interested in peace with us.
Today I held a meeting on Ukraine’s integration with the European Union and NATO. Another meeting, a long meeting, was about preparing negotiations with partners, different ones: from the G7, from the Global South. All this will happen.
One more thing. As always, I want to thank our warriors. Today, I am especially grateful to our pilots. Well done, guys! We are all proud of you.

Today Ukrainians are waking up to a day full of glorious hope, while the Russians in Crimea cannot say the same. The Russians in Crimea woke up to a red morning today.
This morning, the Ukrainian Navy Air Force managed to hit at least 2 warships of the Russian Navy in a successful firing. The Russian Navy base in Sevastopol was hit by at least 10 cruise missiles and 3 naval drones. The attack may have come out of nowhere, but behind the attack there were months of preparation, planning and sheer genius. We will now examine all the details of this critical development, and then we will analyze in detail the behind the scenes, preparatory stages and developmental processes of the attack.
This morning, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukraine fired 10 cruise missiles at the facility in the Ukrainian city of Sevastopol. The area is home to naval operations key to Moscow’s war effort in Ukraine. According to Russian officials, before dawn today explosions at a shipyard at the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in Crimea damaged at least two ships and started a fire that continued to burn into the early morning hours. Ukraine targeted a Russian warship in the Black Sea with three seaplanes while firing 10 cruise missiles at the facility in the city of Sevastopol, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. The rare acknowledgment of a successful Ukrainian strike came after locals posted images on social media of an explosion and raging fire at the shipyard.
Crimea’s Russian-backed governor Mikhail Razvozhaev later shared a photo showing the damaged port side of a large Ropucha-class landing ship. Mr. Razvozhaev said at least 24 people were injured at the Sevmorzavod shipyard. The first explosions and sounds of air defense were first reported around 02.00 at night. Numerous Russian Telegram news monitoring channels reported that the shipyard, which is engaged in the construction and repair of ships and submarines belonging to the Black Sea Fleet, was on fire. While the extent of the fire and damage to the shipyard was not immediately known, images posted on social media showed large flames engulfing the port infrastructure in the dark.
Russian Telegram channels posted videos and more photos of large flames at a facility at the water border. As a result of the Ukrainian attack on Sevastopol, the diesel-electric submarine “Rostov-on-Don” and the large landing ship “Minsk” were damaged. They caught fire. The GUR confirmed that a ship and submarine of the Russian Federation were hit in Sevastopol. “At the S. Ordzhonikidze ship repair facility, there is damage, especially to equipment. We can confirm that a large landing ship and a submarine were damaged.”
The Russian submarine is worth over 300 million dollars. This is a very serious loss. This is the first time in a long time that the Russian military has admitted that the Ukrainians were able to hit Crimea with cruise missiles. Probably French SCALP or British Storm Shadow short-range ballistic missiles were used in the attack. The Ukrainian army still has more than a hundred of these cruise missiles with an effective range of 250 to 300 kilometers. In this case, it is highly likely that the missiles were fired from the left bank of Kherson Dnipro or Odessa. The ministry said air defense systems shot down seven cruise missiles and the patrol ship Vasily Bykov destroyed all unmanned drones.
Ukrainian officials had no comment on Wednesday’s strikes. Dear viewers, this is one of the most successful strikes by the Ukrainian military in Crimea so far. Until now, Combat Cruise Missiles have not targeted Russian warships and Navy. There was a reason for this, of course.
