Gillian Anderson has been one of the best things to happen in my lifetime. She was only 25 years old when she started on X-Files.

Some of the CREEPIEST TV I’ve ever seen - not HER fault - she was just investigating it, LOL!

She was just AWESOME in ‘The Fall.’ If you missed that, treat yourself. Well, it’s really not a ‘treat’ - serial killer show - but superbly done.

Gillian needs to buy her sweet self some new shoes, have a ‘Sweet Night’ and make some more episodes of ‘The Fall.’

I LOVE her in ‘period pieces’ as well. Her acting creds are solid.

Duchovney? Meh. One-dimensional.

She was awful in Northanger Abbey, and her Miss Havisham in "Great Expectations" was borderline unwatchable. She could have at least brought herself to wear only one show, like the REAL Miss Havisham.

My wife and I are both big fans. I have to smile remembering the early days of the series. We lived in a rural part of the county that did not get cable. The only way I could get Fox was to put an amplified portable antenna on some boxes stacked on a stool on our porch and run the wire in to the TV. The signal was poor and 3/4 of the episodes seemed to take place in the dark. We both are lucky not to have developed permanent squints. The Clyde Bruckman episode with Peter Boyle was an especially good one.
